Short connection cable otherwise perfect
I was worried about whether this would work or not. I had a Dell Laptop with a traditional docking station but have upgraded laptops and wanted to connect 2x 1080p monitors, webcam, ethernet and keyboard to my Thunderbolt 3 port on my laptop to have a one connection docking solution for working at home.It does work perfectly, I have the 2 HDMI port model and use a converter cable to DVI for my old monitors and the image quality it just as good as a direct connection. The 720p webcam works perfectly when connect to one of the USB ports. Ethernet port performs at gigabit speeds when tested. The big let down is the length of the cable, it makes it a tight fit and the plug is strained and the cable bent at a right angle. The 15 cm cable is just not enough, needs to be 25cm to give some extra flexibility. Lost a star for this.EDIT: I had problems with my webcam freezing occasionally while using it. The only solution to this was to download the webcam driver for the TS3 model, this cured the problem and it work perfectly now. The support on the CallDigit website doesn't mention this as a solution for this model.EDIT: Updated to 5 stars this has worked perfectly now for last 7 months and has been brilliant for home working.

Really useful
Use it with my 2021 MacBook Pro. Does the job brilliantly. Would have preferred the USB A ports either at 3.1 or 3.2. as then it would be future proofed. Does not get very hot like other powered USB hubs. The RJ45 port works well with Gigabit internet - so does what it says. Thunderbolt is verified Thunderbolt. The Mac tells you when other hubs who claim thunderbolt 3 compatibility is not the real deal. Worth the extra- perhaps if like me you have the need to plug in USB A ports plus RJ45 and an extra Thunderbolt 3 port.

Doesn't support dual display on M2 Macbook
The marketing material on the amazon page doesn't mention that the device will not support dual display on an any Apple M1 / M2 Mac, the page with this information can be found on the CalDigit product web page, where it has a grid showing that only a single display is supported from these devices.Works great if you only want one display connected and the additional usb / ethernet ports. There are cheaper solutions for this though.

Works perfectly with my Dell Precision 5560
I bought a cheaper device originally and had loads of problems - ethernet drop-out, mouse lag etc. The cheaper device claimed to be Thunderbolt but didn't appear as a Thunderbolt device in the Dell utilities. This Mini Dock though is worth the extra money. It has been rock solid - just works in exactly the way I would have expected with no problems at all.

Doesn't work for windows using dual screen
Works great for Mac but it is terrible for windows as it only detects one monitor.Do not recommend

Good item but I wish the cable was longer
Purchased to use with my new MBP and enable me to hook up 2 x 4K 60Hz monitors plus all accessories with having to plug into one port, at this it works well. The only flaw with this device is the short cable length, Thunderbolt supports up to 1.0m cable length so I purchased a 0.5m extender to hide this under my desk. The body is made from metal which is nice as I thought it was going to be plastic.

Great for giving me two extra screens for my 2019 iMac
I don't often write reviews but it took me a while to find this product so I thought if other people were in the same boat as me, this might be useful to them. I have an 2019 27" iMac with a Fusion drive which is basically incredibly slow, having bought an external SSD to boot from to fix the issue, I lost one of my Thunderbolt slots. This little hub plugs into the other Thunderbolt 3 port and gives me two HDMI slots. I can now run my two extra monitors again. It might sound a bit OTT to have so much screen real estate but as a graphic designer I find it really useful to have one with Slack/Teams/email, my main screen has Illustrator/Photoshop/Indesign and the other has all the palettes and sometimes reference docs like Excel and Word. Anyway it works and although pricey, is cheaper than buying new monitors which could daisychain together.

Brilliant for MacBook users
I was a bit weary of buying this product because some of the reviews below we’re not consistent. I’ve been using it for my MacBook Pro for about a week now and it’s been a really good product. The Apple store actually sell this product through their website so that’s what gave me confidence to make the purchase. I’ve been using it with two LG 4K monitors and the resolution is great. I think the Mac is designed to handle dual output in high resolution so if you have a Mac, this product is for you. Initially I thought the price was a bit high but if you have a look around for similar products, the ones that actually work retail for a minimum of £100 so it’s worth paying a bit extra.
