Built to last an excellent upgrade that’s worth.
I’m extremely impressed with this 12V LiFePO4 battery. It’s lightweight, compact, and delivers reliable power far beyond what my old lead acid batteries could handle. The long cycle life and built in safety protections give real peace of mind, Easy to recharge and dependable.

Battery voltage unstable, do not buy this brand.
This is NOT a good battery. I have used it 5 or 6 times now, and the voltage will drop unexpectedly at random times below 9 volts. I haven't put a meter on it when it drops, but my ham radio transceiver shows a low voltage, and a light comes on when voltage drops below 9 volts, and the signal sent from the transceiver is distorted. A minute or 2 later voltage is ok again, then it does the same thing again randomly. This is after having the battery fully charged and only using it under load for a short period of time. I have owned other brands of these type batteries that have lasted hundreds of charging cycles with no problems, but this one is not good at all. Don't waste your money on it!

Honestly, still a little nervous
I've never used lithium in my UPSs. So, honestly I'm a little nervous. I mean you always see incidences of lithium batteries bursting into flame. That would be bad enough when you're at home, perhaps even worse while you're away or asleep. So, I am testing sparingly. They seem to be of fine quality. They are light, but that is the nature of a different type of battery. They function as a battery. Easy to install as any battery would be. So, if they hold up I suppose they are a good value. Time will tell.

Defective Battery after one cycle
Ordered two 12V 8AH batteries. I fully charged both batteries and used them in my daughters power wheels. Went to recharge both batteries and only one will charge. I have tried to contact the manufacture but I am unable to reach them due to the product being fulfilled by amazon. I am really disappointed in the quality of these batteries. I now have only one working battery and questioning how long this one will last. Would like a way to contact the manufacture on how to replace the defective battery.

Good Little Battery
I picked up this compact 12V lithium battery to power small gear and it’s worked out really well. The size makes it easy to fit into tight setups, and it’s surprisingly light compared to traditional sealed lead acid options. That makes a difference when carrying it for camping or when swapping it between different uses like a fish finder or a small ride-on toy. Performance has been solid. It delivers consistent power output without dropping off quickly, and it holds a charge longer than expected. The built-in BMS is reassuring since it helps protect against overcharging and keeps the battery safe during use. I’ve cycled it several times already and it hasn’t lost performance, so I’m optimistic about the long-term durability. For value, I think it’s a good investment. You pay a little more up front than you would for a sealed lead acid battery, but it lasts many times longer. That means fewer replacements over time and ultimately better value for money. Longevity is one of the strongest selling points here, and it looks like it will live up to that promise. Overall, it’s a reliable power source for small applications. Whether you’re using it for portable electronics, a kid’s power wheels, or outdoor gear, it feels dependable and hassle-free. Lightweight, efficient, and built to last — I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking to upgrade from heavier, shorter-lived batteries.

Does not work with my APC UPS
I tried this in my APC Back-UPS ES 725 (model BE725BB) but it failed the power-on test. I suspect that most of these lithium batteries will be the same so be sure to watch some of the many videos on YouTube explaining the use of these as replacements for SLA batteries in a UPS. There are other brands of these batteries on Amazon that have been proven to work with APC units (ask Rufus) although none specifically with my model that I can find. I will stick with a SLA battery for now and maybe by the time it dies, the lithium UPS story will have improved.

Actually has the capacity advertised - if used in low current applications
I cycled this battery on a charger that measures the power input and aggregates the total. It also has the ability to discharge the battery and aggregate the power the battery is capable of supplying. I did this a number of times at different current values. I found this battery is capable of its’ 7 AH rating, but only at lower currents, like 1 amp or less. If you try pulling 3 amps out of this battery, the capacity drops to less than 5 amp hours. The BMS functions as expected. If I try to charge above 14.6 volts DC, the internal BMS will disconnect. Likewise, discharging to below 10 volts will shut down as well. Knowing this, we can use the battery where it will perform the best. I use this battery with a small solar panel, charge controller, light sensor, and LED lights. It recharges during the day, and the outside lights shine all night for free. The lights are 12 volt LED’s and draw less than 1 amp for the string. This battery is light, will last many years due to the LiFePO4 chemistry, and inexpensive.
