Exactly what I needed to add a solar array disconnect to my solar setup. My array should never exceed this amp rating and I am using it merely as a disconnect switch. Works great. How My Star Rating System Works & What They Mean: 1 STAR - Pretty much junk and I would return and ask for a refund if I could. 2 STAR - It works, but barely meets the minimum requirements it should in order to keep it and not return it, but I would not order again. 3 STAR - It does what it was designed to do, but there's nothing really special about it. The Wengart DC Miniature Circuit Breaker is mounted on a DIN rail. The breaker is being used as a disconnect for the incoming DC solar power. Power up to 400 volts DC flows through the breaker during the day. The only time I shut the breaker off is when I am doing night-time maintenance. I recommend the Wengart DC Miniature Circuit Breakers for off-grid solar applications.

I am really happy with this dc main switch. It has a solid construction and is a brand you can rely on. It's perfect for isolating dc supply's up to 500v. I'm using this to kill the power from my solar battery banks to my inverters. It fits most brands of consumer unit with a standard din rail back clip. It has nice solid cable clamps and is easy to install whether as new or a replacement to and existing main dc switch. I highly reccomend this Dc isolating switch and it's great value for money to at such a cheap price. Thankyou.
