Advertentie niet goed gelezen dus best verrast toen bleek dat dit op 2x AA batterijen werkt. Maar het resultaat is goed met 2x Eneloop herlaadbatterijen erin. Spijtige dat de batterijen niet in het toestel zelf opgeladen kunnen worden. Voor de rest voelt dit zeer degelijke en zwaar aan. Glanzende behuizing is direct vettig met vingerafdrukken maar zal nooit plakkerig worden zoals soft touch plastiek en met de werking op AA batterijen is afnemend vermogen van de batterij ook dat geen issue. Verwacht wel hier jaren gebruiksplezier van te gaan hebben.

I bought this shaver with reluctance, having spent £300 on my last shaver (albeit that lasted 15 years). I was hesitant because I have sensitive skin and very heavy beard growth, so was pleasantly surprised when it didn't leave skin rash and does give a very close shave. Beyond all this, it's a really nice design, lightweight, easy to hold, battery (2 x AA) has lasted 14 days consecutive shaving so far and it delivers the results better than my last expensive shaver. Worth pointing out they there's a higher end option than this one with a twin foil. I deliberately went for single foil as thought it would be easier to contour my beard (shaving my neck and upper cheek only), which it does well. I noticed my barber uses the twin foil one and that says a lot, if professionals are using it too.

This is NOT rechargeable and requires 2 AA batteries. It performs well.
