Green Bay Multi-stripe Garden Patio Awning Canopy Sun Shade Shelter Replacement Fabric - 4M x 3M

Wish I'd done this much sooner! We put up with a mouldy and stained awning for the last few years and had got to the point where we no longer used the awning at all as it was so tatty. I was going to buy a complete new system, which isn't too expensive. But then I thought of the hassle of taking down the old one and putting up a new one and, much more importantly, I had no idea what I was going to do with the old one once I had changed it!I'm so please I went for this replacement cover instead. It was much easier to remove the old fabric than I had thought it might be. Having given the frame a good clean (all the green/black mould just washed off quite easily), it was just as easy to slip in this new cover.One thing the listing doesn't make clear - it DOES come with the valance, so very pleased again.One thing to note though is that it does not come with the piping (plastic tube) that slides in to a pocket along the edge of the awning - this is what then slides in to the channel on the frame to attach it. I nearly threw it away with my old cover. Fortunately, I managed to fish it out of the rubbish and easily take it out so I could re-use it in the new cover.

📢 I bought this going by the reviews.This canopy is exactly as described, it arrived early, I believe its a good price😁InstructionsUnscrew the stoppers from where you can see the canopy slides out, slide out old canopy, take out the beading from the old canopy, slide it into the new and then put your new canopy back on.We did this whilst it was on the wall and fully extracted.I cannot express to you how it easy it is compared to how annoying you think it will be.

Very pleased with this awning replacement. With thanks to other reviewers for tips on installation We decided to take the fram off the wall to replace the cover as it was rusty in place and needed painting. On reflection I am pleased we did as I think it was easier to do than struggling on ladders. I would disagree with the minority reviews that complained it is not waterproof. If it rains you are advised to wind it in. Our experience of having one for three years is that if you forget to do so water collects in it and the weight is sufficient to pull it off the wall. This has been a very worthwhile alternative to the need for spending £200 on a new awning.

Top quality even though had to send back first then reorder as the sizes bit off,you need to allow for frame, i reorderd the 3 m x 2.5 wide and fits perfect even though mines only 2.8 wide,make sure you tie up winding arms when all way in,took me about 15 minutes from removing old cnopy and fitting new on my on.

Easy to fit to old cassette and install onto existing brackets we had 3 to do all in all they took about an hour each.Lovely green fabric looks and feels durable it’s only been up for 4 weeks

Very nice canopy, well made, durable and stylish, one problem but my problem, I didn’t measure both dimensions and as a result I have a canopy that’s half a metre to long.. I resolved by rolling the half a metre on to the roller..! don’t be a doughnut like me, check all measurements, this item will serve you well, its perfect.

I purchased the multi stripe version and it looks really smart.The fitting was a bit fiddly and needed two of us to properly install. Also it helps to keep the wires from your old canvas to feed into the slots.I am really pleased with the result.
