Sometimes shipping plants is rough.
Update: I ordered this again and it came in perfect condition. Very pleased with how well they handled everything. Will order from them again.I got this and one other plant at the same time. I'm sure something happened during shipping. They are refunding me. Soon as it goes through I'm going to try to order again. I attached 2 photos. The first one is a few in my small plant tank for damaged plant parts. To help them if can be saved. Second photo is of the other peaces that I put in my fish tank but they look kinda wilted still but with no roots they won't stay in the plant base clay/rock bottom. I keep having to push them back down.Like I said I'm going to try to order again.I'm hoping it will safely come through this time. The other one was a fern I believe. It looked great.Ok refund went through. I'm ordering again, but I'm getting a multi pack with a variety and this one is in it. I will come back and let you know how it went.

Aquatic Plants
The media could not be loaded. These beautiful aquatic plants came by US mail to NC from California..they lasted less than a week in clean treated aquarium with heat light and sunlamp..they were so pretty until the large leaves turned brown and floaters starting dying..I took my beta fish to another tank..I think they would work to order from a California resident so they don't travel so far by mail like here in NC mail.it is 39 degrees today and cold all last month..so unfortunately I had to get a refund..

Looks good!
Good looking plants when arrived. I got 1 bundle which is about 5 stems in this bunch, each between 5 and 7 inches long. I live in SoCal so I was careful to get them out of my hot mailbox right away when delivered. Almost no shrinkage when planted in my co2 injected 15 gal and they rooted right away. They definitely require a lot of iron supplementation. I use all-in-one liquid and seachem root tabs, but once you figure out the balance of your fertilizer they are good to go. I have had them for about a month and the newest leaves are getting deep pink. They are still the original stem, i haven’t trimmed and replanted any of the offshoot stalks yet. I wanted to make sure the original stems rooted good and strong before I go cutting at them. I have trimmed off the roots that grow on the upper stem. I get better color that way versus not trimming them. Overall I’m happy with these plants from this grower. I would order again.

Poor quality
Plant arrived with half the leaves off and wilted stems. Could have gotten big bundle for less locally.

Arrived alive and healthy
The packing was a sealed plastic bag (holds moisture well) and USPS delivered quickly through it went from west to east coast. The top of the leaves are GREEN so don't expect a fully violet plant. The underside is the violet-like color. A few more stems would make it a better deal (I got 7) so only 4 stars on value (shipping costs as much as the plant.) Waited 4 days before review and the plant still looks fully healthy so I feel this is a healthy bundle (75 F, drip fert, and CO2.)

Pretty color but broke apart at every joint on the stems! What a mess! Never again for this one!
I was very disappointed in this species of aquatic plant for my aquarium. I wanted a little color besides greens of my other plants so I bought this one. Yes, the color was pretty but at every joint along the stems the plant fell apart and made a huge mess in the aquarium. I will never purchase this variety again! Waste of money but a huge waste of time and work to clean up the mess!

Slimy and wilted plants
The stem cuttings arrived slimy, and leafless. What a few leaves did survive attached to the plant have turned to mush inside of the aquarium. In the picture I have posted the entire dead spot was planted with these and has turned to mush.

BEAUTIFUL !!! ( REVIEW # DAYS LATER )
These came in looking just like the photo ( not quite as red ), but very large plants, especially the Red Flame Sword which is 12" tall. There were several stems, full of leaves ,on the Alternanthera Roseafolia bundle, and the stems were 10" long. When I need more plants, I will definitely look to see what this company has to offer, I am very happy with these plants. Yes, they were shipped in a plastic bag - in a box, and the plants were damp, they also smelled fresh, how else would they be shipped, can't see any snails either. The stems of the Alternanthera are now PURPLE, I hate the color purple, the color change is after 3 days of planting. The leaves are now pale green. They were reddish in color , when first planted when they first arrived. I would not have purchased if I knew they were going to be PURPLE.
