These fasteners are really great. My coat rack fell off the wall. Past fasteners were not working. These ones were really great. I was able to thank my coat rack up very fast, with no problems. It's even better than before.

I would say these work just as well as the more expensive brands found in the hardware stores. They are supposed to be self-drilling but I generally drill a hole in the drywall slightly smaller than the threads, before using them so they encounter less resistance and don't snap, but that can happen with the more expensive brands too.

As I said, I have other preferences, I prefer the plastic ones with wings which expand as you draw them in. But sometimes you don't have the clearance for that expansion (like mounting up close to a stud, but not in the stud). These require less expansion space, but will expand enough to make a strong mount if the sheet rock is of decent quality (i.e., density that doesn't readily fracture). These are a good choice for specific applications. They are just one choice among many, but when application requires a design of this nature, you'll soon find they deserve a fair ranking.

These anchors are really heavy-duty. We bought these to hang our bathroom mirror cabinet which is pretty heavy. They holding it super sturdy. I am so impressed with it

I intentionally purchased these for the self drilling feature. They failed miserably and forced me to do drywall repairs in a clients house (costing me hundreds).I will be buying a different brand next time

It starts out we have too many parts such as nails, screws, washers, anchors, drywall included and then the next thing you know we are searching all over the place for just one that we might have missed. Looking in the box and seeing it full of 100 Heavy Duty Plastic Drywall Anchors and screws is such a thrill. We have never had that many at one time and knowing we have enough to last is mind blowing. I always wanted to stock up on parts like this, give them their own special drawer or something like that but we never had enough. About these heavy-duty anchors, they can hold up to 50 lbs. because they are made of premium nylon plastic, and they have deep threads. Most likely you know more about these types of parts then I do so I won't go on but one of the things I really like about these drywall anchors is they go flush with the wall; I never have liked seeing them sticking out. I recommend these anchors and screws; good quality parts are hard to come by.
