Worked great
I used this for a tub enclosure for a young ball python. I loved that it came with little legs to put on the bottom of the tub, and I had no issues with it connecting to the thermostat and keeping the temperature regulated.

Eight geckos all appreciate these
I have quite a few geckos and was using another brand of heat mats that fell off the tanks really easily. I bought one of these but was wary of it at first. It ended up being so much better than the heat mats I had, that I'm working on replacing the ones I had before. I still use aluminum tape to hold them in place like I did with the old ones--just in case--but the adhesive on these is great and they heat very nicely and evenly.

Not reuseable
This heat mat takes longer to heat up then the fluker's one I bought, but it does work. I used a temperature gun to monitor the temperature, and it took a half hour to get up to a consistent 95 degrees F. I didn't wait any longer, because that's the max temp I need for my leopard gecko, but it probably gets hotter than that. ALWAYS USE A THERMOSTAT! The iPower one is inexpensive and works well.I went for this brand because of the size, most other brands are 8" by 6", which is too small for a 10 gallon tank imo (a heating mat should cover a third of the tank) and I wanted my gecko's humid hide to overlap it a little. The downside to it being so thin is that if you remove it from your tank after adhering it, you risk damaging it, so it's basically one time use only. The fluker's ones don't have adhesive, you attach them with packaging tape, so you can reuse it.

The BEST heat mats on the market!
These heat mats are so thin and they stick so much better than the other ones that you’ll find!I recommend this heat mat brand over any other brand. :))

Best heat mat brand on the market
Having tried several competing brands, I've settled on Exo Terra for all my tanks -- they seem to have the best adhesion and best heat transfer due to the thin material. A lot of other brands have a thick PVC shell on both sides, reducing heat transfer from the mat to the tank, which is kind of the whole idea here. Haven't encountered a defective one yet, out of seven Exo Terra mats in total.

Work great with thermostats for my box turtles and ball python.
I have two box turtles (in two separate terrariums), so I bought two. I also have a ball python for whom I bought one of these heaters, a while back. I use each of them with thermostats and they work great! They are very thin and the side opposite the heating side hardly gets warm at all, but the heating side against the glass heats perfectly. Super easy to install, too. Love them... will buy again.
