Wow gorgeous picture. We just upgraded from a TV we bought in 2019 that had failing backlighting and it's like night and day. I love the pure blacks you get with OLED and don't think I would ever buy a regular LED screen after experiencing this. The contrast is just incredible, and this model gets quite bright. The construction also seems really nice compared to other TVs I've owned, with the entire TV only being 1" deep and primarily made of metal. I considered the G6, but the differences were small enough and the price difference was large enough that I chose this tv and also upgraded our soundbar. The combo is now amazing for movies etc. Very happy with this TV.

I bought this TV in January 2026 after an incredible plasma tv fell off the wall and crashed to the floor. Long story. Anyway this TV is absolutely beautiful. In fact i enjoy playing OLED screensavers on it because the picture is so amazing. The picture is all around fantastic no matter what you're watching. Like others say it's a very bright TV - I brought the brightness setting down a bit. I also went through all the picture modes i can't recall the setting its on but depending on your room you'll definitely want to check them all out and decide which one is best for your room. I have it in a man-cave setting so i can't speak to how it looks in a bright room, but i would imagine it would look great. I waited awhile to post a review in case there were any technical issues and there has been absolutely nothing negative to report back. Kinda happy I was forced to do this upgrade because i have a lot more current SmarTV options with this than my old plasma. I highly recommend this TV.

I was a little hesitant about buying a "Used – Mint" TV, especially such an expensive one, but this turned out to be an incredible experience. The TV arrived extremely well packaged in the original LG box with all the proper protection. Cosmetically, it looked brand new - no scratches, dents, or signs of previous use, not even the mounting holes. The biggest surprise was checking the TV information after setup: it showed 0 total power-on hours. It genuinely appears I received a TV that was either never used or never activated. Picture quality is absolutely stunning. The LG G5 lives up to the hype with incredible brightness, perfect blacks, vibrant colors, and amazing HDR performance. Dolby Vision content looks phenomenal, and the overall build quality is top-notch. For anyone on the fence about purchasing a "Used – Mint" unit from this seller, my experience was outstanding. I saved hundreds of dollars compared to buying new and ended up with what appears to be a brand-new TV. I would absolutely buy from this seller again. Highly recommended!

Upgraded from 4K to this beautiful OLED. It is beautiful. The rich colors and clear picture leave you wondering if anything could ever be better. The UI is okay but I prefer to use Apple TV. Integrates well with Apple TV and Sound system. Make sure to use HDMI 2.1 wires (as opposed to HDMI 2.0 or Infrared). Use the CEC/ARC port and route your Apple TV to the receiver and then to the TV in the CEC/ARC ports on each so you can turn them all on or off or change volume. It does not come with a TV stand. That is an extra $100. The TV can be as bright as you want with its 4 layers of OLEDs unique to the G product line. That brightness is what differentiates this TV from others. Some complain the remote is awkwardly designed. For example input change requires holding down power button. Up down are up down levers rather than buttons. Just use your Apple TV remote.

This would be a great TV, except for the unbelievably obnoxious and poorly designed remote which by the way, people use all the time. The pointer is absolutely useless. It sends you on a flight around your television screen, and never can never accurately zero in on what you actually want to select. Also, incorporating the mute button into the volume down renders that feature useless. Why the heck would LG do this? Mute feature is used quite often. When I called to ask to see if I can permanently disable the pointer, they said that is not an option. Marketing department needs to do some homework on how not to frustrate the heck out of their customers.
