Counting Crocodiles

My grown kids remembered this book and loved it, it was also a great book to read as a parent. So of course the Grandbaby needs the book too

The only book I wanted to read as a kid :) my brother and his wife just had twins and asked for books for their baby shower and I had to get them this. So cute, so funny, the drawings are endlessly entertaining and have so many hidden things in them. Thinking of buying myself a copy to frame some of the pages because I love it so much :)

As a mother of a 3 year old daughter and an early childhood educator, this is probably my most favorite book available.The story revolves around a monkey who spies a banana tree on an island across the way and tricks the crocodiles into making a bridge for him to go over and retrieve some bananas. Each page is very colorfully illustrated and is told in a very catchy poetic form. Through the story you count crocodiles from one to ten and back again. The book is short but puts a smile on your face all the way through.This story is excellent for teaching values, sequence in stories and in counting, and is a great introduction to crocodiles. A huge fan of The Crocodile Hunter, my daughter finds this story entertaining, and is one of the only stories she asks me to read over and over. It's nice because this is one of the only stories I like reading over and over!

We LOVE this book! It's fun and funny and has been gifted to many children. I originally found this in a used book store in Tucson about 15 years ago. Since then, I have purchased it about 10 times including an updated copy for our house.

This is a fun story. My toddler son loves crocodiles and this has quickly become one of his favorite books

I just read this book to my first graders today. They enjoyed it very much. I like the fact that the children were counting the crocodiles and laughing a the funny ways the crocodiles were dressed. This is a wonderful counting book and it teaches a lesson at the end.

My 3yr old twin boy grand kids love this book, it has everything great about it.. the pictures & the story are fabulous, they can't put it down...

Such a cute book! My daughter is obsessed with reptiles and adores this book. Love that it rhymes, has excellent illustrations and is very funny!
