Microppose Parafilm All Purpose Laboratory Clear Poly Film 1.25" x 280 ft

This Myco Labs Microppose Parafilm has been a really versatile and useful addition to my setup. I primarily use it for sealing petri dishes, and it works even on my set of glass dishes that have a fairly large gap between the base and the lid. The 1.25" width is perfect for covering that extra space and creating a secure seal without hassle. I’ve also been using it as an initial wrap for grafting before tightening the graft union with electrical tape. It does a great job protecting the bark, which makes a big difference when it’s time to remove the electrical tape later as it protects the young bark from damage and tearing. Overall, it’s easy to work with, stretches well, and performs exactly as needed for both lab and plant applications. Very satisfied with its quality and versatility. I have used other films that are too stiff or tear too easily and this one seems to be just the right texture to work with. This film is a reasonable price for the quality and I am very happy with my purchase.

Does what its supposed to do. Easy to use, perfect texture, size is lab quality, easy to tear or cut but also durable. Thickness is enough thick enough but thin enough to pull.

Pros: reusable, withstands 15 psi, nice and clear glass. Cons: difficult to stack and move. They are nice to have to save money over time but they are nearly impossible to stack as they want to slide off each other. The lids are also a the looser side and it’s difficult to pick them up without having them separate. Included is a pic of a cloned dryads saddle mushroom on one of the plates.

I bought this film for my acrylic paint tubes that had their plastic caps broken. Saw someone on YouTube using similar film for nail polish and thought this might work for me too. And indeed, it worked. Will probably last me a lifetime and works well for my purposes.

The value of this product is the best I’ve seen in the internet for what you are buying. It sticks fine when and great for keeping stored agar sterile.
