Mostly good! I love cereal but I’m trying to limit my sugar consumption, so when I saw this brand of healthy cereal I knew I had to try. I tried this one to sample the different flavors. I’m glad I did. Fruity - my favorite. Tastes similar to fruit loops. Peanut butter - meh, wouldn’t order again. It tastes like butterfinger w/o the sweetness. It tastes like protein powder. It tasted better dry than with milk. Frosted - pretty good. I would order again. Across the board the cereal sort of sticks to your teeth. Not a huge issue as many cereals do. But just wanted to point out. Also the texture of these cereals kind of remind me of the marshmellows in lucky charms. One side note is that the bags they come in are hard to open but easy to rip if that makes sense lol. Idk why they chose that particular plastic for the packaging. Overall I’m happy I ordered these! They are pricey, but I’d rather spend more on something healthy. I checked these in the Yuka app and all but the peanut butter one scored relatively high, I.e. they’re healthy!

This was my favorite cereal because it tastes good and it’s pretty healthy. Then the price spiked ridiculously high…it’s already a pretty small box to begin with. I can’t justify paying that much for cereal. No one should.

I waited to try every flavor in this variety pack before leaving a review. Overall, this cereal is quite good. It's sweet but not too sweet and totally satisfies my sweet cravings without having to eat sugar. The only problem I have noticed is that some flavors initially don't have much taste, but then leave an aftertaste of what they are supposed to be. The texture is also a bit odd, but I don't mind it. Here are my thoughts on each individual flavor: Cinnamon Roll: Delicious. The smell alone is like walking into a bakery. The first mouthful was like a crunch bite of fresh cinnamon roll with thick icing. Fruity: Similar flavor to Froot Loops but it takes a moment for the flavor to register. Peanut butter: Pretty much tasteless. I only got a mild sensation of peanut butter flavor. Frosted: Like eating only the marshmallows from Lucky Charms. Cocoa: Tastes like dark chocolate but takes a moment to register. Some people may find it a little bitter, but it satisfied my chocolate cravings. Maple Waffle: Absolutely the best flavor by leaps and bounds! Just opening the box was like being hit with a wave of fresh waffles and syrup.

tl;dr: Magic Spoon's value is in its ability to deliver easy-to-prepare/consume protein - Overall flavor profile: 5 out of 10 (not amazing but not honestly not bad either- i could eat still eat this everyday) - Flavor/cost: 1 out of 10 (definitely not buying it for the flavor) - Protein content: 9 out of 10 (13g-14g of protein per serving is pretty good) - Protein content/cost: 1 out of 10 (≈7g protein/1$- other sources of protein are significantly better valued than this) - Ease of preparation and consumption: 10 out of 10 (You technically don't even need milk or a spoon to eat this, could just take it straight from the bag. Even if you ate it like typical cereal with milk and a spoon, the prepwork is just as involved as mixing protein powder) Conclusion: Magic Spoon is not a particularly tasty treat, nor is it super valuable with respect to protein content, BUT it is a pretty good product for consumers who are willing to pay a slight premium for a very easy way to augment their daily protein intake.

My favorite cereal growing up was berry kix so I bought the 4 pack of the blueberry muffin. It faintly resembles the berry flavor profile but I’d say it has more of an artificial blueberry candy aftertaste. I like it enough that I can eat a cup once or twice a day but don’t want it enough that I eat the whole box in one sitting which i have seen people do in video reviews when they pour almost the whole box into a large bowl. There are only 5 cups in an entire bag. With that being said, if you need to eat more than 2 cups a day of cereal this can add up quickly to multiple boxes a week. I noticed I don’t go through this cereal as fast as my bags of Catalina Crunch which is $7/bag and has 6 servings because it’s easy to snack on that while also using it in my yogurt and having it as a breakfast cereal. I can easily go through a bag of Catalina Crunch in 3 days. So if i only eat Magic Spoon once a day, the box should last 5 days which isn’t terrible for a $10/box of cereal. The texture for the blueberry muffin is a bit soft out of the box and crisps up in milk. It does get stuck in your teeth like everyone says. I bought the 4 pack and got the straw spoon and I tried it before forming an opinion just by looking at how awkward it was out of the packaging. It’s actually not that bad and I used the straw to drink some of my cereal milk while eating the cereal. Never would have thought someone would invent a stroon. It does work. Not hating on it. I see it as sculptural art and actually fun to use. Glad I got a spoon with the 4-pack even though it’s more of a novelty. Back to the price of this cereal, is it worth what they are charging??? $10/box for 5 cups… it depends on the flavor. I wouldn't want to be stuck with $10/box of cereal with flavors i really dislike so i don't bother to buy all their flavors. I’d probably stick with the more specialty flavors like blueberry muffin, s’mores, birthday cake, chocolate chip, fruity.
