Never bought one of these looks promising but my only concern is will it make the system overheat by any chance and will it heat up my skin console?

It brings the temp down from 34 celcius to 29 celcius when I set it to manual and keep it on low setting. There are 3 settings total. On automatic it comes on when the temp hits 35 celcius and turns off when it's back to 34. I game for hours at a time and with this on my Xbox series S is always cool to the touch so I don't believe it will overheat. Mine has been A LOT cooler with this running. I'm very happy with the results I've had with it.

Will this work with the g-story portable gaming monitor attached?

Yes is the short answer. I trimmed the fan base that has the 90 degree lip with a mini bandsaw and smoothed it with sandpaper. The fan has magnets and dimples that keep the fan in place. Works great!

No. It's not bad on low. It's gets a little louder on medium and high but I haven't had it go that high yet.

Will this work on xbox 1

It runs off the USB port don't know if it works for Xbox 1
