does the mating electrical connector (the piece that the wires are terminated in) come with the valve, or must it be ordered separatly?

The connector is not included. Our part number is SW040 and can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QZ4MVLD

What is the “L” port used for?

The L port is an optional drain line that can be used when operating at pressures greater than 3500 PSI. It is plugged by default.

Your listing says 6 ports with #8 sae (3/4”-16). a contradiction. if the ports are 3/4”-16 that would be sae -12. sae-8 is 1/2-14. please advise?

Hello, this valve does use #8 SAE (3/4”-16) ORB Thread. If you contact us directly, we can show you our thread guide that walks you through how to properly measure threads.

How much power does it draw?

This is a 12v DC, 30 watt solenoid.
