This product worked 100% as advertised. I’ve found on other antennas that reception can suffer, but that’s not the case here. The radio reception comes in perfectly, all while making the vehicle look more sleek without the long unsightly antennas installed by the manufacturer. I would recommend this to anyone looking to open up your field of view while driving, and give your vehicle a sporty look at the same time. The black color blends in well with the trim around the antenna base. After removing the factory antenna, the new antenna installs in seconds! I have had this on my vehicle for a while and it looks just as good as day 1!

It didn’t really solve my issue of not having radio signal but I’m sure it’s a radio issue and not and antenna issue so I’ll only review for the quality and look. It’s small and sleek goes well in my jeep patriot and it’s made of good quality .

Very easy to install and works great with air stations a satellite radio. Works as good, if not better, than the original antenna. The original antenna would get caught on the garage overhead wood frame when backing out. The original antenna ended up bent and wood from the door frame pulled loose. No longer a problem with the shorter Maxracing antenna. Great price!

Installed and is just as good as the original antenna

Looks pretty . I live 6 miles from down town and have trouble getting radio stations. I took a short trip, when I got about 25 miles out of town I lost almost every channel. It is just a piece of aluminum no coil or anything to help with reception.

This antenna looks great, and screwed into the truck without having to use the adapter. I do get a signal, but it is not a great signal. HD audio goes in and out but I don’t lose audio completely. I’m sure this is different for everyone depending on how far you are from audio source. Quality of the product is good. But I probably wouldn’t recommend for someone who listens to the radio as their primary audio source.

It is smaller than what I was expecting. Still gets excellent reception. Much better option than my antenna from the manufacturer.

Make sure you clean up the top of the strut threads before trying to remove the nut.. Ended up using vise grips and a rag to hold the strut. Otherwise easyinstall. Driver side back strut nut can be accesed through the engine bay on the 2.5. Cant wait to put some bigger tires on!

I purchased this stubby 4 in antenna to replace a “cheaper” 8 in antenna that did not last. The soft brass threads eventually stripped out because it did fit my 2018 F150 quite right from the start. This kit comes with stainless steel thread inserts, much better quality out of the box. I chose a shorter one this time because it does not block my view on the right side . I mostly listen to satellite radio , but when I listen to local radio stations I did not notice a decrease in reception. P.S. — It holds up very well through car washes , not like the other.

Fits 2018 Colorado ZR2 and easy install. 2.5hrs start to finish.
