Providing lightweight comfort to help you breeze through the mountains, these men's adidas Terrex hiking shoes are built for all conditions. A GORE-TEX lining provides waterproof and breathable performance, while the mesh and synthetic upper is super-lightweight. The Continental Rubber outsole elevates the grip, so wet and slippery terrain won't ruin your day. Review: Comfortable shoe that likes to keep moving - I was in the market for some new work shoes and decided to give them a try. So far after wearing them for 2 shifts they feel pretty good. I usually wear. 9.5 or 10 depending on brand. After reading many reviews saying the shoes were tight I ordered a 10. When I first put them on I noticed that fit well but were a little tight in the footbed. After walking around the house for a bit I noticed they loosened up well. After wearing them for two shifts I have noticed that the original tightness is gone and they fit fine. So far I’m pleased with them. They seem to have good traction on various surfaces wet or dry. I work 10 hour shifts and walk various amounts throughout my shift on various terrains. I haven’t had a chance to test out the waterproofing but I have never had issues with gortex before. The shoes are very comfortable to walk and move in. I would suggest other shoes if you work in a stationary standing position as these are not very comfortable in that area. Overall I’m pleased with the purchase Review: Durable and Comfortable - I love this product because it is the perfect combination between a durable and rugged boot and a comfortable and stylish sporting shoe. This is one of those products that you can wear anywhere and in almost any setting and feel good about it. If you have to go on a hike in the woods, they will be sufficient to grip to the ground and prevent any damage from coming to your feet. If you want to go out on the town, they look great and will fit in with any style of dress that you may be wearing short of formal wear. I have been nothing but pleased with this well made piece of footwear.

Good shoes, not good insoles. Runs small
The shoes are good with excellent grip. Broke them in for a few days and hiked Half Dome. All was good until the assent. Hurt so bad and when it was done I pulled the insoles. They were crushed to nothing in the heel. Unacceptable and dangerous, switch them out ASAP if you do long hikes. They run small as proved by my new insoles sizing cuts. I want to find who approved those insoles, make them wear pair and take them for a hike.

Deceptive look...
First of all. The look and quality of the shoe does look quite good. It does however make your feet look smaller by the way the toe area is structured. If you prefer a boot that is snug and fit. This is the one. If you have wide feet like I do. I guess it will take a while to break it in. Overall, I like these boots. Having Gore-Tex is a plus. Making it an all-around shoe you can wear anytime, anywhere. Kudos to Amazon too for efficient shipping.. Update. Is not recommended to be worn during winter. Especially on icy wet surfaces. The soles do not offer any grip at all. I was slipping and sliding all over the place. I had to go home and change to a different shoe. I guess the rubber soles were not meant for this kind of surface or conditions.

Comfortable and protection
Game changer!!! I will buy these things again after these wear out. Went out hiking today in the after a rain and it was wet and muddy everywhere!!! These things have grip like no other!!! All my friends were slipping and I was glue to rocks. I stepped in water a couple times and feet stayed dry but there was times my foot fully submerged and the water got in from the top which was no fun but over all these things are really durable and comfortable like wearing running shoes but the protection of a hiking boot. Great job adidas!!! Also they look cool too not all big and heavy. Absolutely a great buy. The only problem you’ll have is if you wear them too much on the concrete I thing the rubber on the bottom are pretty soft.

Great traction, but uncomfortably hard inside
First, the GOOD news: — The traction is damn good, maintains stability on even slippery surfaces and loose rock! 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ for the traction! Now the BAD news: — incredibly uncomfortable on the bottom of the foot, no cushion even with the included inserts. A third party cushioned insole is a must to include in your decision to purchase!! 2 ⭐️ ⭐️ for the uncomfortable bottoms. Returning.

Fits like a sneaker and is more comfortable than a boot usually is
So I wasn’t sure if I would like these or not, but I had to try them because I liked the style. I ordered 4 pairs of boots to try and these were amazing so the other 3 are being returned. I work in corrections and I’m tired of the same old same with boots. If they fit right and are comfortable, they aren’t slip resistant or waterproof. I decided to try an all black hiking boot to see if they would be better. I wore these for the first time today and they are so comfortable it’s like wearing sneakers to work. I can’t say if they’ll last because it’s only been one day, but they feel well made. They are a little stiff, but I think they will break in well. I got a bunch of compliments on the style too. I like that the sole is made of heavy duty rubber like the continental tires and yet the shoes are still light. I feel like I’d have more gripping power when I need to run too. They squeaked a little on my floors at home, but after walking on pavement for a day the squeak went away. I replaced the insoles with memory foam, but not because of the shoes feel, I do that with all my shoes due to an ankle injury that left me with no cartilage in my ankle. If they last for a while then I’ll definitely buy these again.

Great reliable shoe with some space for big wool socks.
this shoe is amazing for outdoor enthusiasts. firstly, the shoe does have a bit of extra space, seemingly enough for you to put on thicker socks, which I do. If you anticipated this to be a snug and normal fit with normal socks, it may feel too big, and that there’s too much toe space. I use these for outdoors and winter up in Alaska, so the specs are ideal. the waterproof function is amazing. with the right socks, these shoes are perfect. normal socks may have you feeling like Adidas failed on a big price shoe, wondering how their reliable reputation could have slumped on this model. hope this helps.
