Good Way to Catch those Stray Bugs that Make It Inside
I live in Florida. That means two things are essential in any household: regular extermination, and something to deal with all those flying creatures who want to sneak inside to cooler temps when you open a door. I bought this product on a whim, after some fruit flies were an added bonus that came with a grocery delivery. This consists of two parts: a u/v light box type thing and a sticky board that adheres to the unit. The u/v light attracts the unwanted flying pests, and the sticky board traps them so they cannot continue to fly around your house. The sticky board faces inward, toward the wall, so that you do not have to look at ugly bugs or replace the sticky board before it gets full. I find this product works best if you turn it on at night, so there are no led or incandescent bulbs to compete with the u/v light. When you wake up the following morning, any flying thing will no longer be flying around, but instead will have found a new home stuck to the board. But I have also successfully trapped flying things during daylight. The unit has an easy switch on the side so you can turn it on and off as needed. You can easily see the purple glow from the unit once it is turned on. If you place it in the bottom socket of a double outlet, you can still use the top one for another plug. I placed this on my kitchen island, next to the cabinet that holds my trash can. It has kept both the kitchen area and the trash area free from flying pests since I installed it. The unit comes with three sticky pads, and mine has plenty of room left on it to catch more critters, meaning I will not need to change it out for quite some time. I have no issues with finding carcasses on the floor under the outlet either. If you live someplace where flying things tend to invade your house, I recommend you get this product. It is cheaper and cleaner than other sticky traps I have found, while still being fairly unobtrusive. My only issue is that the instructions on how to attach the board could be clearer, and I had to come back to read reviews here to ensure I was attaching it correctly. If you are likewise a little vexed, just hit up the image gallery in this review section, and you will see just how those boards attach.

DOESN'T WORK
Yes, I took the plastic off and exposed the sticky side. Yes, I kept it plugged in for a week. It didn't attract a single gnat/fruit fly that I have flying around my fruit bowl. I had to go and buy the roll of sticky paper and hang it from a cupboard, which isn't pretty, but effective. Don't bother with this garbage product.

tha nat killer
This prodoct works great I had so man nats i could hardly see through them I plugg it in that afternoon when I got it the next morning I could find a nat anywhere and hasn't seen any new ones I've had it now for a week so if you have a bug problem this works great and it's not expensive no sprays to wory about and it comes with 3 replacements that last about a month each you can get refils as well so i'm satisfied with something that actuall works.

These were a fraction of others on the market and really work.
A family member had the expensive version of this product and said he loved it. So, I went on Amazon and checked for products that do the same thing. I ended up getting 2 for a Fraction of the price he paid for 1. I put 1 in the family room with the slider because the dog is in and out. We have not seen any flying insects but when we checked the trap it had over 15 insects on it. So changed the sticky card and very satisfied. The ultra-light makes for a nice night light to. We put the 2nd one in the hallway upstairs. The product also has an off/on switch if light needs to be turned off for some reason

Gets rid of those pesky tiny flies.
I was sick of sitting on the couch watching TV at night and seeing those tiny flies buzz past my head. They were too small to hit with a fly swatter. They would probably go right through the holes in it anyway. Our fruit is fresh and eaten pretty quickly, so I was dismayed by their presence. I found this and figured it was just what the doctored ordered. I put the sticky pad on it and plugged it in. 3 or 4 days after it was installed, I found that nothing happened. I still had flies. So, I contacted the company. I thought that there was a chance that the unit I got was defective. They were great and very nice in telling me that the reason I was probably not having the best luck, is that I had installed the device near me, and not near the fruit. I know, it is probably pretty obvious to everyone else. Once I reinstalled it in the plug right next to where the fruit is kept on our kitchen island, they were disappearing quickly. In fact, it snagged several more than I even knew were around. By the end of the first day of having it in the right location, I had 6 stuck to the pad. I couldn't believe it. I typically saw one or two at the most. I left it installed for another couple of days and 2 more were on the pad. I'm sure I could have left it longer, but I changed the pad for a new one of several that were included in the box. Since then, I have about 3 or 4 more that have been removed and I will be leaving that pad for a while. Between the sticky pad and the ultraviolet light that is emitted by the fly remover, I think my fruit fly problem is solved. If you have the same issue with annoying little flies, even though your house is spotless and you eat your fruit in a timely manner, then this little thing will do the trick.
