Open Road Goods Mexican Yoga Blanket, Navajo Aztec Southwestern Diamond XL Thick Serape with Stripes

I've been looking for a new Mexican blanket for a while now. I just enjoy the versatility of them because I can use them for yoga, as a picnic blanket, or to get cozy under at night on the beach. I purchased the "charcoal" version, and when I received it, realized the color scheme was a little different than some of the photos, but in a good way. This blanket is gorgeous. I'm so glad I chose this one!

The blanket is a nice quality and good size. It covers the top of my sons full size bed. It doesn’t hang over the sides but does cover the top. I would give it a rating of 5 except the pictures and info are a bit misleading. The info says the colors in the diamond may vary but doesn’t say anything about the stripes on the ends. We ordered the charcoal one expecting some blue in the blanket somewhere and were surprised with a blanket that was completely yellow, orange, red, and green. It will definitely brightened his dull dorm room! We were expecting those colors to be in the blanket but had thought there would be some blue also which would help to calm it down just a bit. Again it is a great blanket but buyers just need to realize the only thing that will look the same as the picture is the background color of the diamond.

I really wish they would send you the blanket you see in the photos. I’m cool with different variations of colors... but bright orange to replace the purple in the turquoise blanket??? Who even decorates with bright neon orange??? The quality is okay. Some fabrics are loose. I’m slightly disappointed.

Very happy with this purchase. Large size, nice weight and thickness. Authentic look and feel. It did pill and shed a little after the first wash but I expect that to subside with use. It adds to the imperfect vintage aesthetic.

Best blanket on Amazon. Holds in the wash, doesn’t shrink in the dryer or fray. SO SO SO warm. I bring it with to every event I manage-I do festival mgmt and usually sleep on-site in a tent in 30-40 degree climate. This blanket is all I need a/Sleeping bag and I’m toasty all night-nice for someone like me who typically freezes at night. Makes a nice gift too!

I love this blanket! The colors are vibrant. It's not very soft but it's great for an extra throw on your bed or couch or a dedicated picnic blanket. It's durable and heavy duty. It's fantastic for outdoor family pictures - the colors really pop!

The color referenced the background color, all others are chosen by the creator. This company works directly with the artists and offers a portion of proceeds on certain products to non-profits.

I love this blanket. The colors are vibrant. I machine washed and tumble dried on low. It washed up great. I’m very satisfied with my purchase. The shipping was super fast too!

I loved this so much I bought another in a different pattern. Looks beautiful on the beaches and can be used for yoga as well. It also gets lots of compliments and attracts attention on holiday. Hardwearing yet pliable so not heavy or rough.

I don’t usually leave reviews but feel this one is deserved; it was a Christmas present for my brother, but I had ordered it too late and delivery was not expected until 3rd Jan... the blanket arrived 23rd December! Speedy service and good quality product - the colours are great.

Ich liebe diese Decke, die für alles schön ist. Leider nicht mehr verfügbar, sonst hätte ich nochmals eine gekauft mit genau diesen Farben.

Took a little longer to arrive due to Covid but really happy with it. It’s good quality and really soft.
