It took me months to decide which electric squirt guns to buy. I specifically needed one not because I have kids or even anyone to battle with…I wanted one to squirt my naughty dogs when they bark at strollers that pass by the house. I kept reading reviews about how these leak sometimes and don’t waste my money, but I’ve bought 3 now (gave two away to kids) and not a single one of them leaked at all. When you first fill it up with water and pull it out of whatever bucket you dipped the nose into, it does drain water out all over the place and is a bit drippy for a few minutes while the rest of the draining finishes off. After that not a single drop spilled out of any of them. I set them on a towel and monitored them for a few days, zero moisture. Apart from that, they squirt decently far and are loads of fun to use. The only one aspect I wasn’t done of was the rechargeable battery system. It’s got very I’m apparently an electrical engineer now vibes. It comes with a pair of bundled and wrapped batteries with a wire just sort of hanging out and a plug on one end. You unscrew the butt of the gun, plug it into the gin’s connector, and wiggle the battery into place. To charge it you reverse that whole process and then plug the battery cable into a suspicious looking wire with a connector at one end and a usb at the other. Idk how I feel about all that but it feels weird in 2025 to be playing mad scientist with a squirt gun. Closest thing I can compare it to is a fancy RC vehicle where you go all mechanic to swap out parts, their batteries are like this sometimes. Overall, these are absolutely worth the money just be careful to keep track of these weird loose batteries, I feel like they will be less than easy to find replacements for.

Bought for my son's birthday, they work great! the battery lasts a while. The kids had fun using them. Great value for the money. One of the kids dunked it completely into the water bucket and we thought that it had ruined it but after drying out it worked again.
