It seems to be a nice high quality pointer that should last a long time and is easy to charge. The old battery style were always a pain and very seldom lasted more than a few months plus the expense of the batteries. Now I think most of those problems will be a thing of the past. One word of caution is using for a cat lazer chase toy is, I feel way to bright and could cause harm but with the refractory lens on it, it makes it more functional for my cat. It is just he does not know which light to chase but he tries. I feel it is worth the money if you have it for multifunctions and not just a pet toy. The single beam was way too bright for me to look at for more than a split second or two and I can imagine what a cat sees so becareful.

This thing works great. It feels tough not cheap. I use it to run my dogs around the house and yard at night. Probably more awesome for cats lol. Has usb charger, i just put ut in my wall charger for cell phone !

I’ve had this for a few weeks now, and my cats absolutely love it. There’s something about the hundreds of moving dots that gets them completely excited and engaged! It’s very easy to use, and I especially like that you can double-click to keep the light on without holding the button. The first charge out of the box lasted at least 30 minutes of continuous use, though I haven’t fully tested the battery life yet. My only small complaint is that the piece on the end that expands the light pattern is screwed in, which makes it a bit awkward to adjust—I keep accidentally dropping or flinging it when trying to tweak the setting.

Love love, love this laser light for our cat. We tested it out and it has a huge distance capacity. And I love the fact that we can charge it with a USB and not have to buy batteries all the time. Plus the button to activate the laser light is super easy as opposed to the smaller ones with a harder button to press.
