beautiful, impractical and of poor quality.
the kettle worked well for exactly one year. one year warranty. Then the kettle began to determine the temperature incorrectly and the water often boiled away. And today it turned off completely and no longer turns on. The design is not only beautiful, but not convenient. The rim on the handle heats up together with the kettle. The spout gets scratched and the black paint flakes off. The water takes a very long time to pour, if you need to brew a kettle with tea, your hand gets tired of holding it. Beautiful, impractical and of poor quality.

I got two for my coffeeshop! Now its not available., maybe i got the last pieces of this product before amazon remove it from their system!i received with different plug and one with mark in the handle, one without! I dont know for what reason., but one thing is for sure! I struggled a lot using it! The program is not working, sometimes its stop halfway but most of the time its overflowing(high temp is uncontrollable)! Waste of money!

I decided to treat myself to the Fellow Stagg EKG Electric Gooseneck Kettle, and though it felt extravagant, especially as someone who only drinks tea, it has been worth every penny. The first thing that caught my eye was the sleek design, particularly the wood handle and the elegant gooseneck spout. When it arrived, the craftsmanship exceeded my expectations—it’s as stunning in person as it looks online. I love that I can set the kettle to an exact temperature for different teas. For black tea, I typically use 212°F, and it consistently delivers. The keep-warm function has been a game-changer for me. I’ve set it to hold the temperature for 5 minutes, which is handy when I get distracted. The slow-pour gooseneck spout is ideal for delicate tea-making or pour-over coffee, although it does take some patience. There are a few things to keep in mind. The slow-pour design isn’t for everyone. If you pour too fast, steam can escape from the vent holes near the spout, so positioning the steam vents properly is important. Also, avoid placing an empty kettle back on the heated base—it could damage the unit. The manual recommends turning the base off before doing so. Overall, this kettle has made my tea ritual more enjoyable. While it might not be ideal if you only need a quick boil, it’s perfect for tea and coffee enthusiasts who value the art of brewing. I have no regrets about this splurge and would highly recommend it to anyone who shares that passion!

Elegant, precise, and accurate kettle for pour over coffee. The handle is easy to grip and its shape and feel (writing of the black plastic handle) are suitable for small and big hands. Not the fastest kettle to reach temperature with its 1200W element but this gives time to grind and prep for coffee. Temperature control is excellent. Selectable by degree. The kettle has an option to hold at temperature for up to 1 hour. 1 hour is excessive, but the ability to hold means that the pour, wait, pour ... process for Kalita or V60 or whatever your preferred method is always done with water at the temperature you chose. There are options for Celsius or Fahrenheit scales and to 'hold' at a temperature or not. The kettle is fairly quiet at the start and in the hold phase of reaching temperature. At the midpoint on its approach to 95℃ the noise level increases to an acceptable level in a kitchen. Controls are simple but not necessarily intuitive for folks used to pressing the button and waiting for a kettle to boil. The kettle fills by removing the lid, pouring water in, and then replacing the lid. Capacity is 0.9L max. Obviously an extravagant choice even for coffee geeks this kettle has become a solid and consistent piece of kitchen equipment for me. The kettle is not well suited for making tea due to its gentle and controlled flow through the gooseneck spout. Fellow make a similarly shaped kettle for tea and more general use (Corvo). The Corvo shares the same control, fill, and performance characteristics differing only in the spout design.

Most people looking at kettles would know about the Fellow Stagg EKG already, as it's been very popular for tea and coffee, especially pourovers. We got one of these for making tea, and there's been nothing wrong with it. Setting the temperature is easy, then you just fill it and turn it on like... a kettle. If I had a chance I'd get a Corvo instead of the Stagg since I don't do pourovers often, and use it more for cup noodles haha. I also wish the original had the pre-boil setting that the new one does, would've been convenient for pre-boiling water before having it drop to the right temperature for tea or baby formula for example.
