Brooks Anthem 7 mens Sneaker

First of all, I’m just gonna say that Brooks are my favorite! So this might be a little biased. This pair as with the last 10 pairs fit and feel great right out of the box! I have a full EE not quite EEE feet. The problem I typically run into the issue with other brands that they are too narrow for my feet. They look REALLY nice, great style! Great product as usual!

Super comfy, good fit. I was concerned at first because there was a bit of extra room in the toe box which I'm a perfect 9.5 so almost every shoe/boot I've ever owned is just so and these have a little bit of extra space up there but it's of no detriment to fit/feel or performance. Sleek and comfy on the tread.

These shoes are pillowy soft underfoot, with much of that softness coming from the insole. That insole, however, is flat as a pancake: no arch support, no heel guidance. Also, the shoes have a little TOO much room, they don't give your feet that gentle hug your feet need. BUT: if you slip in an aftermarket insole or orthotic (on top of Brooks' insole) they are transformed. Now they have arch support, heel support, and the excess room disappears. These now feel great, and may end up being one of my favorites. Maybe they'll be one of your favorites, too.

They are Brooks, so the quality and comfort is top tier. But this variant (Anthem 7) feels thin when compared to my other Brooks. Granted, I use these for coaching soccer, and not for long distance running. They are light weight, so I'd assume they would make fantastic running shoes, but it doesnt prevent them from feeling rather.... frail.
