People We Meet on Vacation

Extremely well written, fully fleshed out deep characters, exciting suspenseful plotting. In the end it felt a bit cliche, though. The main characters' lack of self-confidence was also a bit eye roll inducing.

久しぶりに恋愛小説が読みたいと思い、 その週ニューヨークタイムズのベストセラーリスト入りしていたこちらを購入 結果的に、小説内でSarahが抱いていたのと同じであろう、 主人公に対する嫌悪感のみが一貫して心に残りました 「恋愛感情無しの兄妹みたいな親友（大概一線を越えそうになってる）」 「お互いパートナーがいるけど、毎回同室に宿泊する旅行」 これらを気持ち悪いと感じる人には向かない思いました また旅行記として読むにしても、旅先の描写や出会う人々、 特にこれといった面白味はありませんでした 今後はもっと慎重になって本を購入しようと感じさせられた一冊です

I liked the content of this book, easy to read, easy to follow. However the product I received was missing pages from page 344 and I couldn’t finish the rest of the books. What an irritating experience I had!!

My favorite Emily Henry book! The yearning had me screaming, crying and blushing.

I reread this after a long time because a series is coming out and I wanted to refresh my memory. This was the first book by Henry that I ever read, and the one that convinced me to follow her in all her future publications. I love her writing style, the way she builds her stories, and her characters. She never disappoints!

This was such an enjoyable summer read. The writing flows really well and is easy to get into, making it perfect for reading by the pool or at the end of the day. I loved the slow-burn friends-to-lovers romance , it felt natural and well developed rather than rushed. The banter between the characters was genuinely funny and kept me smiling throughout, and the female main character was strong, confident, and easy to root for. Overall, it’s a light but well-written romance that’s entertaining, charming, and hard to put down.
