Updated Product Review I was not totally satisfied with the original purchase for a number of reasons. However, I also wasn’t totally dissatisfied with it either. Its biggest benefit was always its strongest selling point, the fact that it is ultra slim. First, I’d like to say thank you to Bonnie and her excellent customer service. Most companies sell you something and walk away. LISEN on the other hand actually listened and was willing to address my concerns. Obviously I was unaware there was an updated version of the product I received. The company’s solution was to replace the purchase with the newer version. They also offered a full refund, but I was more interested in the product itself and its slim profile. What has changed? One concern was the original purchase got warmer than I liked while charging my phone. This new version DOES NOT warm up while charging my phone. LISEN has resolved this issue. The original purchase charged my phone slower than I liked. This has been resolved in the newer version. The original purchase did not charge my phone completely. As Bonnie pointed out and she is correct, I own an iPhone Pro Max. The 5K version of this device or any other brand is not capable of giving the larger battery in the Pro Max a full charge, but it will get you 80% of the way there (typically good enough). If you’re looking for a full charge on the Pro Max, purchase the larger 10K version of the LISEN (full charge plus). The original purchase took a long time to recharge. This issue has been resolved in the newer version. It recharges at least as fast as advertised. My final issue with the original purchase was the MagSafe connection. The primary connection is strong and that was true on the original purchase. Not falling off. My issue was and still is that it can twist easier than I’d prefer. If you’re familiar with the MagSafe design, it has the circle and line on the bottom. The line on the bottom prevents a device from twisting or turning. This portion of the magnet could still be improved, but is a minor concern. Updated conclusion. The newer version is a solid product and delivers as promised. And again, its best feature is how slim it is (unmatched in the industry, at the moment). Less bulk, less weight. They have resolved the biggest issues, but could improve it further, per my last comment. In all, I’d give it 4.5 stars, but that is not an option. Because they addressed the most pressing issues in the new version, it gets 5 stars.

Super slim and comfortable enough to where you can hardly feel in your pocket. Charger is easy to charge and carry wherever while providing enough charge to get you through a long day. Highly recommend, specially for the price.

This update to my first review with a one star rating. Lisen team responded quickly to my feedback and a fresh testing cycle was conducted. 2nd review: Testing with iPhone 12 with Otterbox MagSafe slim profile case, the Lisen snaps tightly and begins charging but drops off within 30 seconds. However after removing the case the Lisen snaps to the iPhone 12 and charges efficiently and at a faster rate than when I use the Lightening cord to charge the phone. On the iPhone XS with a thinner protective MagSaf case (made by Teayoha) the Lisen snaps firmly and works efficiently and quickly. This very nicely designed charger is efficient. Certainly it is the smallest and easiest to carry with nice contours. It does have issues with thicker cases which the seller did state in the advertisement. Upgrading the rating to four stars only because many people use the thicker cases for additional protection on their phones. Lisen management gets 5 stars for customer service and excellent communication. Previous feedback: Beautiful design and concept, but the one I received dropped off the charging cycle less than one minute after connecting it to my iPhone 12 via mag safe. I doubled checked that it was fully charged as indicated by four blue indicators. I'm disappointed as this has a slim and portable design. Alas the engineering inside failed.

August 6, 2025 update: Just making an update because a company that stands behind their products like LISEN does it needs to be noted. They reached out to me to replace the device I purchased with an upgrade device and I'm happy to report that the replacement device is on par with the specifations described. There no overheating and I was able to get a full charge on my Samsung Galaxy Note and still has enough power to top it off. Can't speak highly enough about the excellent customer service I got from Mobe, she went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the upgraded device and due to their outstanding customer service I will not hesitate to purchase my next device which is the wireless car charger, I'm confident that if there any issues, Mobe customer service rep, will make it right. When I saw this Lisen charger I was intrigued on how thin it is and it was exactly what I was looking for, a charger that was thin enough to put in my pocket without the extra thickness that must have, so I put it to the test, magnet strength is amazing, aesthetic wise it looks classy and not overly flashy with just 4 led dots showing battery strength, thickness is perfect at just .03 inches, but unfortunately after about 5 minutes into charging my cellphone the unit gets too hot making it uncomfortable to be on a phone call for too long. I really wanted it this charger but performance wise it's just not cutting it, hence why only 2 stars.

Product was delivered fast as expected and packaged neatly. I really liked the sleek design and weight of the product. It had good conductivity to my phone. Instructions for care were pretty easy to understand too. All around it feels like a well made product. I did run into a bit of trouble with overheating upon my first few uses but after contacting customer service my issue was quickly resolved and I have a replacement product that works wonderfully. I’ve already suggested this product to several friends and family. I’m mostly impressed with the charging speed of the wireless aspect in about 20 to 30 minutes my phone will go from 20 percent to 80 which is amazing to me.

Fast charging easy to use and so far after trying a few different brands, it has been the slimmest one at an affordable price if you catch the sale. It fits well in small bag and can charge the phone to reasonable amount so it’s been great for emergencies and for traveling. Only down side has been bc it charges the phone quickly it can get hot and will stop charging phone until it cools to normal temperature. This isn’t unusual though, it’s been the same with other brands with similar functionality. Instructions do advice using the battery pack without phone cover to prevent overheating as well. We ended up getting another one a few months later and while it’s advertised as same as the first it was slightly thicker. So maybe a newer version? Also had an issue with the power button but lisen remedied it by sending me a replacement quickly without hassle. Response was quick and simply asked me to send a quick video to document the issue. So great customer response as long as you are within warranty period.

This thing is absolutely worthless at its main feature - magsafe charging. Its not magnetic enough to support its own weight, even without a phone case. It is so poor at charging that my phone loses charge while attached, even though it shows a connection. Due to the weak magnet, it is very difficult to keep this aligned properly for charging, and no matter how delicate you are in its handling, it frequently disconnects and reconnects. Forget about even trying to use this with a phone case installed - one that any other charger i own handles perfectly fine. The only thing this device is good for is the trash heap. EDIT / Addition: Up front, I updated my review from 1 star to 3 stars simply due to the exemplary customer service I received from Lisen following the original review I left above. While I'm upgrading my rating, it doesn't change the quality or points of this specific product, which I do think should still be avoided if you're planning on using the Magsafe feature. Lisen reached out to me following the original review and offered me a refund, allowing me to keep the original product (not that it is particularly useful for the purpose I bought it- as a magsafe battery bank). This was already an acceptable resolution, but Lisen took it a step further and offered me, free-of-charge, any of three choices of different magsafe battery banks they made. I chose a different one that is also slim, but has a 10,000 mah battery rather than the 5,000 mah battery as in the device I originally purchased. The replacement is far better -- it has positive engagement, and can actually charge my phone through a case... for a while. I get about 30% added battery like over about 20 minutes or so before the charger overheats and shuts down, so this still isn't perfect, but I like magsafe for charging my phone a few minutes at a time when I set it down and don't want to wear out wires and my port by constantly plugging in and unplugging my device, so that overheating issue is acceptable for my use case. Either of these devices work fine when plugged in via USB-C and functioning as a standard battery bank. Lisen did not ask me to modify my review in advance of performing these actions, and afterward only stated that it would be appreciated but not necessary. That seems completely fair and respectful to me, which is why I was inclined to come back and add this information to my original review.

**UPDATE** increasing my review to 4 stars. After my initial one star review the company reached out and took me through a couple troubleshooting steps and then sent me a free replacement and didn’t ask me to return the defective one. The new one does a much better job of charging. That kind of customer service is so refreshing in today’s day and age!!! The charger is fairly slim and attaches with a decent magnetic connection. The problem I have with it is that it advertises that it does fast charging but when connected via MagSafe to my iPhone 15 Pro Max it only does slow charging. It is so slow that my charge actually decreases while the battery is attached instead of increasing, even if it’s just sitting on my desk and not being used. Completely useless.
