Q: What is the maximum table thickness for the clamps to work?

Not sure if maximum but they handled my 1-1/2" table top easily.

Q: my table is 33 inches wide and 4 inches thick. Will the clamp be too same for a 4 inch thick table?

The clamp on the net opens to about 3". Mine has an overhang that it fits on.
