Super sturdy the handle is very comfortable and I like all the accessories you can buy for it to hold your fishing stuff.

Awesome bucket and was perfect to brine the turkey for Thanksgiving

Love this thing. It comfortably fits all the fishing lures. Big handle is easy to transport to a fishing spot, and with the lid it seals everything from the weather and elements.

I purchased this bucket as a Father's Day gift for my dad, as his old one has seen better days, and we are both fans of the late Hobo Shoestring. The bucket itself is quite sturdy. The plastic is very thick and durable. There is no flex at all. It features a wide nylon strap with a thick plastic handle in the center for easy carrying. It's much more comfortable than the standard thin plastic and metal handles you find on regular buckets. The mouth of the bucket seems too wide to accept a standard bucket lid. It seems as though any regular sized lid would just lay inside the lip and spin freely. While this may technically work for basic needs, some lids with handles built into the sides would probably have to have them broken off in order to fit, though I can't say for certain. Consequently, the official YETI lid is probably the best option, so it's a shame one isn't included from the factory, given the price of the bucket itself. As an aside, and as stated earlier in the review, this is the same bucket used by many Youtubers, including the late Hobo Shoestring. We were very sorry to hear of his passing, and enjoyed his adventures very much. If you've been trying to figure out which bucket he used, this is it. All in all, it's by far the toughest bucket I've ever seen. If you need one, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better one than this. Worth every penny.
