Great Customer Service
Mostly here to brag on the customer service of this company. Amazon had a due by date, but only one buoy arrived. We had a time sensitivity issue, and the company was quick to respond to help. We did receive the buoy the next day. These work well and as intended. They’re great for our boat dock. Recommend the product and this business.

Safety First!
The light works very well as a safety device around the dock at night.

Poor quality Treads ball did not seal to top
Unhappy with order. Threads not in ball to seal to top to prevent water from entering ball. Poor quality. Returned.

Very well made, strong and sturdy, works great
I'm so excited about this solar buoy!QUALITYThis buoy is made very well. The plastic used is very heavy-duty - and heavy. It's not going to crack or break easily, and because it's a softer plastic, it doesn't feel like it will become brittle over time. The tether ring is molded right into the plastic and is very strong. Just tie a rope to the tether and to the dock (or anchor), and the buoy is ready to float in the lake. The solar panel on the top of the buoy is firmly attached. When the panel is in full sunshine, it charges the batteries by day, and then the buoy lights up at night. When the buoy is lit up, it lasts all night on a days charge.FUNCTIONThe buoy is weighted at the bottom, so when floating in the lake, it stays floating upright - even on windy, wavy days. The buoy gives off a very bright white light, making it very easy to see when on the lake at night. I was somewhat concerned about how long this buoy will last, but the manufacturer states it should last 20 years with normal use. That's impressive.Because the buoy is white, it is also visible by day - even when not lit up.Obviously the buoy is waterproof, so there are no worries leaving it in the water all the time.SIZE and STYLEOur lake isn't all that large, so it really isn't hard to find our dock at night after we've been out fishing. So this buoy isn't really necessary - BUT, I just really love the look of a floating orb out by our docks at night. I think it looks cool, and it definitely makes our docks stand out.The size is large enough to make it seen easily, but it's not too large that it gets in the way of the docks or lift.Overall, I couldn't be happier with this solar buoy! It works great and looks so cool in the lake. I highly recommend it!

Navigating the Waters: A Look at Dunn-Rite's Solar LED Buoy
Dunn-Rite’s solar-powered LED marker buoy is designed to be a reliable navigational aid for mariners and lake enthusiasts alike. The buoy stands out with its self-illuminating feature, powered entirely by solar energy, which eliminates the need for manual charging or battery replacements. At 14 inches in diameter and available in red, its visibility is decent, though not exceptional. The construction of the buoy is sturdy, with a durable outer shell that withstands various weather conditions and water environments. The light engine, while efficient, provides a brightness that is adequate during dusk and nighttime but might be less prominent under bright lights or at greater distances. The solar panel on top of the buoy charges well on sunny days but its performance can falter during overcast conditions, which is something potential buyers might want to consider. The setup process is straightforward, allowing easy deployment without extensive tools or technical knowledge. However, the buoy could benefit from a more detailed instruction manual, especially for troubleshooting common issues like light flickering or charging problems.Price-wise, the buoy is positioned competitively, offering good value for its features, though the longevity of the light engine and solar panel will be the real test of its worth. This buoy serves well for casual or light commercial use, though heavy-duty users might want to explore additional options for enhanced visibility and reliability in harsh conditions.

Very good looking - will buy more.
Okay, maybe this review won’t be helpful for some people, but we’re not using it as a pool float. I have a disability so my roommate/caregiver has been determined to turn the back yard into a fairy garden. And this addition is just amazing. All our other lighting is of pretty small scale, so a giant orb floating (in its flower pot) in the night is just hilarious. We both like this so much that we’re likely to order other colors. Puts out a lot of light and seems to be very sturdy. Took us a while to hit a cloudless day for charging, but now that it has had an opportunity to charge it is absolutely great. Five stars.

Coolest buoy at the river, got some jealous neighbors now.
Although this is a cool attention-getter, it actually has a really big gain regarding safety in general. There are a lot of boats and sea-doos going out on night runs, however, there are no lights on the water where we dock and it is in the lead into a corner. People frequently cut a little wide until they see the bank approaching. I have already noticed more than one begin cutting the corner earlier as this was illuminating the bank a little. We don't leave boats out at night, so no risk of anyone hitting one, but I do want to help avoid someone running aground and maybe damaging the boat or getting hurt. If this helps it is worth every dollar. Not crazy bright, but enough to get noticed, good-quality material, I feel that this is going to last a few years, we will see if the light/solar last as long as the buoy.
