Not for tough chewers
We have had this product for less than a week and it is already breaking down from our dogs chewing it. We did not even give it to our biggest chewer, our pitbull. We purchased 3 to stuff and rotate with our Kong’s, they had these 3 days last week and 2 of the 3 that we purchased are started to shred. Our Labrador and beagles were the ones who had them, and they are not that tough on toys. We will be replacing them with Kong’s. Very disappointed as we love our nylabones.

Deteriorated in days
My dog loved this toy...for all of three days. It had deteriorated to this point in under three days from giving it to her. Doesn’t seem like it is made for strong chewers as advertised.

Not as good as Kong
I have several of these kinds of toys so that I can fix them up and freeze them on a weekly basis. This brand doesn't quite stand up to Kong brand, but I think it'll last a while. I added a photo: Nylabone on the left and Kong on the right. I've had the Kong for a few weeks longer and alternate between the toys.

My Dogs Like Them
I got these instead of the Kongs for my dog and my boyfriend's dog. My dog is 60 pounds and capable of being a power chewer. His dog is 15 pounds and not so much of a power chewer. But I read that these are similar to Kongs, so I thought I would go for it (better price point!). I bought them two each (2 large for mine, 2 small for his) and now I used them regularly to stuff with yummies (peanut butter, cream cheese, pumpkin, etc.) and freeze. Then when I give them to them, they can keep busy for quite a while. I try to not leave most dog toys unsupervised, but these ones I would feel comfortable with knowing that my dog CAN power chew but generally doesn't. If your dog is a super power chewer, it's probably not advisable to ever leave them alone with toys they could destroy.

Impossible
We purchased the small size for our new puppy and it was a giant FAIL. The little hole on the bottom is impossibly small. I’ve tried stuffing it with treats and his regular “kibble” (which is like tiny little pellet sized)—the hole is so small that it’s equally impossible to get food out as it is tricky to get food in. I had to get a pair of tweezers to get the food out of the thing. He would quickly lose interest every time.

Good for Medium to Large dogs
As described but I can't recommend this for small dogs (under 35-40 lbs.) The hole in the bottom is too small and has 'supports' that have to be cut out. You will definitely need to cut open the hole in the bottom if you use with treats any larger than small kibble. This works fine but our dogs seem to prefer the traditional Kong toy and will play with the Kong even when there's no treat in it. They tend to leave this one alone unless we put a treat in it. If you do the peanut butter smeared inside to get them to play with this toy longer, you will definitely need to open the hole in the bottom and cut out the supports with larger dogs (bigger tongues). With the original hole size it does work if you 'fill' it with small sized dry dog food. The dog food falls out as they chew the toy. When we 1st got it and were experimenting, we tried several treats before cutting open the hole. With smaller dry treats our 40 lbs. beagle size dog picked it up, squeezed it with the bottom down and dumped all the food out. Then dropped the toy and eat the food ignoring the toy. ;-)Since we opened the hole we can insert dog bones and larger solid treats they have to work to get out.

Better than the kong!
My pups LOVE this. And I have overweight agressive chewers that demolish toys in minutes. This has nubs on the outer ridges that stimulate teeth to keep them clean unlike the kong. I ordered this almost a month or so ago, and it still looks brand new. Our dogs carry them around the house all day. For the price, you can't beat it. It is made of a nice durable rubber. We stuff them with a natural peanut butter and some kibble.

Would never buy again
I gave this to my dog Christmas Morning as a treat with his breakfast in.He already has a Kong which he loves, but it is old. I thought a nice bacon flavour would be good.He loved it so much he started eating it!!!Hence, I had to throw it in the bin.Not indestructible, and definitely NOT value for money.Very disappointed

great for slowing the dogs noshing down!
this is great toy, she loves getting her kibble out of it then throwing it at my legs for a refil. Also great to play fetch as the random bounce adds a lot of fun for the dog. We have a rotten shepherd with a great powerful chew and she doesnt destroy this although we dont leave it with her when she is alone. Didnt notice any scent or flavour, which is actually good in my opinion as they sometimes smell really weird and chemically. Great alternative to Kong, durable and cleans well (using bottle brush). Have not tried freezing it, but I think the instructions said to do that. We usually fill with kibble and a little coconut oil or natural nut butter to keep them stuck in. has air hole at the small end to prevent it getting sucked onto your dogs chops, but when using nut butter it tends to get stuck there

Not for dogs that like to chew!
ProsSame size a a large red kong (for large dogs).Extra grip on the outside for the dog to pick it up.ConsExpensive- only bought it as I couldn’t get a red Kong.Only lasted 10 mind longer than the food inside and that was on its first use!Once my dog had picked it clean, she then went on to start chewing bits off the top. After 10 minutes she had taken most of the narrow neck off.Bits of red rubber everywhere and totally unusable. Had to throw it away for fear of her swallowing any of the bits/ dangerous in my opinion.I have had a red Kong for my other dog for way over a year and it still looks good and hasn’t managed to be damaged.Would never buy one of these again. I have now bought a second KongHad to give a star for flavour so gave 1 - only because I have no idea - I haven’t tasted it!

Going strong
Longest lasting toy/chew they’ve had so far. I have 2 x Romanian rescue dogs and they are still very nervous of the outside world. They get them stuffed with treats as part of their routine and they love this but will sit and chew them empty as well. They are still virtually undamaged despite being the oldest toys they have. Other toys and chews-including other Nylabone chews- have been long ago binned-but these are still going strong. I should add I’ve had the dogs and chews for 8 weeks.

My pup loves it
To start with, my pup loves this. He's an 18 week old Shih-tzu puppy. The 2 things I don't like about it are that it smells very strongly of rubber. No hint of the bacon it's meant to taste like (other bacon flavour Nylabone toys at least had a bacon smell). And, the opening in the bottom is so large that he's had all the treats out within 3 minutes of having it. No exaggeration. But he loves it for the time it lasts :)
