Tool has no instructions, so you will need to find some, if you don’t know how to use it. Tool is well made, worked very well after I learned his to use it.

Does its job perfectly....definitely value for money as opposed to hiring a plumber. Was able to pull the old one out within 10 seconds and have the shower up and running within 10 mins of changing out the cartridge.

I am disappointed with this product, which I find more like a Fisher-Price "My First Cartridge Extractor" due to its plastic construction. Unfortunately, this replica does not function as a real tool, and it is not effective for removing any cartridge without relying solely on imagination. In my opinion, investing in a steel cartridge extractor produced by a reputable brand like Moen would be a more practical choice compared to this toy-like alternative.

Worked fine for me to pull a cartridge I had installed myself (without a tool) about 11-12 years earlier. Made of aluminum so likely not durable. Body heated up while threading down handle to pull the cartridge - recommend some light grease on threads before using. Make sure to stabilize the handle and make sure the screw threads well into the valve stem before starting. I used this on a Moen 1200 valve cartridge from a pre-1990s "Moentrol" tub/shower valve which I had installed 11-12 years before and was glad I had it because it prevents putting strain on the valve body and plumbing while pulling on the valve stem without supporting against the valve body. Didn't use this tool to "twist" the cartridge because it came with a plastic tool to do that. I think for what you pay and not having to drive to the store to get a better more expensive one, this tool is completely serviceable, and I won't be mad if I can't find it in 12+ years when I have to next replace the cartridge.
