Good device. Worth the money.
This covers my daughter's entire back, neck and abdomen as needed. She can sit on or put her legs across as she pleases. She already has a small red light therapy band but it has no coverage. This is a large therapy pad and it will cover larger areas of the body. The heat output is good. I've never seen one this large for such an affordable price. I knew eventually I would need a red light therapy pad and I have finally found one at a great price.

Worth It for Muscle Recovery & Joint Pain Relief
I’ve been using the Comfytemp 33” x 17” Mat for a few weeks now. First, the size is perfect for targeting larger areas like my back and hips. It comfortably fits my upper body when lying down, and I’ve also wrapped it around my knees and shoulders. The flexibility of the mat makes it easy to position around joints, which was important for me. The combination of 660nm (red light) and 850nm (near-infrared) feels like it penetrates deeper than smaller handheld devices I’ve tried before. After workouts, I’ve noticed reduced muscle soreness and faster recovery. It’s also been helpful for stiffness in my lower back. I usually use it for about 15–20 minutes per session, and the warmth is gentle — not overly hot or uncomfortable. The build quality feels solid. The LEDs are evenly distributed, and the mat lays flat without bunching. It’s easy to store and doesn’t take up much space. I also appreciate that it’s FSA/HSA eligible. A few things to note: • It’s not a miracle cure overnight — consistency matters. • The 33” x 17” size is great for targeted areas but not full-body at once. Overall, for the price point, this is a great entry into red light therapy without spending hundreds more on a large panel system. If you’re looking for muscle recovery, joint support, or general inflammation relief, this mat is a solid option. Would definitely purchase again.

Good size and functions
The adjustable levels of light intensity and having a flashing setting is especially useful for therapy. The higher irradiance level also warms nicely and shortens the time needed for therapy. The timer auto-shutoff timer does seem a little short, but if I feel I need more, I just start it again. The length of the mat is ideal for sitting in a chair with legs on a foot stool, treating from the hips to the ankles on the front and glutes to the ankles on the back. Which means you don't have to keep moving the mat to cover multiple areas and was what I was looking for. My only grip is that the instructions were poor, but it is simple enough to figure out after using a few times.

Convenient red light therapy mat for at-home use and travel
What I bought this for: It was nearing the end of the year and I still had some HSA funds to use. I had recently purchased a red light therapy mask and had been doing more research on red light therapy in general, so I decided to add this mat to my routine. I wanted something I could use at home and also bring with me when I travel for work. What I like: • Large enough to comfortably use on different areas of the body • Easy to set up and use • Lightweight and packable — fits easily in my luggage • Nice addition to an at-home relaxation routine • Appreciated that I could use HSA funds to purchase it What could be better: The mat itself is flexible, so you do need to position it thoughtfully depending on where you’re using it. Not a big issue, just something to be aware of. After using it: I’ve been using this a few times a week for a couple of months now. While it’s too soon for me to say definitively how much it’s helping with aches and pains, I can say that I haven’t had any recent flare-ups and I don’t feel worse. That alone makes me feel good about continuing to use it as part of my routine. Would I recommend it? Yes, especially if you’re interested in red light therapy and want a mat that’s easy to use both at home and while traveling. I like using it in combination with my other wellness tools for a relaxing, spa-like experience at home.

Makes a difference with pain!
This is absolutely fabulous for my husband who has had multiple back surgeries and narcotics really don’t help but this mat makes ALL the difference in the world! He walks in from work and lays on it for 30 minutes then he can get up and help with dinner and grandkids. Without this, he was not able to get up and do anything!
