Value: great. This was the least expensive valve I could find and it works great. Leak Resistance: This valve is working great on Moen faucet with no leaks at 18 months and better. Ease installation. The most difficult part is removing the old core. Pay close attention to disassembly and reassembly. You have to get parts seated properly. It's a bit too easy to put on backward and reverse the hot & cold output. Ease of Use: Works better than anticipated. Easy and smooth valve movement. I looked at the instructions and watched a YouTube video on replacement. Very few tools are required. I'm so happy to have a faucet that is easy to use again and doesn't drip! Leak resistance: I've been using two of these for over a year now and they are still performing perfectly.

Work perfectly and now easy on and off

Great price in the two, having some slight stiffnes with one shower handle, as I replaced a cartridge 5 years ago. These were easy to install and you can use vice grips to pull out. Extra grease was nice and 2 metal shims to lock in place a plus!! Now handles pull out with the slightest of ease as turn fast.

Nice quality at a bargain price. They definitely won't last as long as the original Moen "all brass" valves, but they do fit and are easy to install. I always add a little extra plumbers silicone grease to the O rings for ease of installation and added lubrication for smooth operation..

I had originally ordered replacement cartridges from Moen, which were free under the warranty. One of them was defective in a matter of weeks. I bought these because I didn’t want to go through the hassle of contacting Moen again. In my opinion, these are actually higher quality. I would suggest to any do it yourselfer, that you watch a video on YouTube on how to replace the cartridge. It’s really not hard, and I honestly believe just about anybody can do it, and these work great.

Although I had to wait a few days for shipping because I'd the pandemic, this is exactly what I needed and I'm very happy with my purchase. I bought this 2-pack because it was the same price as 1 would be at Lowe's, and I didn't want to do unnecessary shopping. I replaced Moen cartridge 12801 on my shower and it was a perfect fit. Each of the 2 cartridges comes with 2 retainer clips, a turn removal tool, and a capsule of plumber's grease for the o-rings. I also used a core puller and I needed a Phillips screwdriver. I'm a single mother without a lot of time but i had to write this review because i was so happy with this purchase.

I installed these in my two bathroom faucets and so far they are working great. They move up and down even better than the original ones. I bought the special tool to remove the old cartridges. Without the tool it would have been hard or impossible to get the old cartridges out after being in there for 32 years. It was well worth the $13.00 for the tool on Amazon and the cartridges are an amazing value at $15.00 for a pair of them. I honestly feel they are equal or better than the original Moen cartridges.

Easy to install and helpful video

All i needed was a youtube video and voila, it replaced my tap in couple of minutes and fit like a glove. The quality looked good and working without any leak since last 6 months. Hoping for many more years. Great value for money and easy to install.
