The best probiotic I've tried, and I've tried a lot. Many I actually seem to react poorly to. I'm not sure if it is because some probiotic strains produce histamine, and this strain degrades histamine. When I react poorly to other probiotics I seem to get tired, and foggy headed. I tend to be more constipated as my normal, but this probiotic completely normalizes bowel movements. Seriously, this works better than other other fiber or laxative I've ever tried. It just normalizes your BM's, which in and of itself is very important so your waste is removed and does not ferment in your gut, causing more problems.

I love this probiotic. It works wonders for me. I use it together with another multi-strain probiotic. But don't order it in the summer!! When it arrived, I got it out of the mailbox and it was very hot. It didn't seem to be working like it usually does so I tested a couple of the capsules using the milk test and they were dead. The product itself would get 5 stars but I take one off because this takes a week to arrive and no telling how hot it gets on the way. But when I do get good ones, they work perfectly and help my system tremendously!!!!

Thus is a game changer. It us the best probiotic that I have taken. IBS is a tricky thing to manage, but Jarrow Ideal Bowel Support has made it much easier. I find that bloating is controlled. I don't need to take fiber as this controls regularity. Totally satisfied and have used it for 4 months so far.

I recommend trying out the product before purchasing more than one pack. This probiotic doesn't work with my body - gastrointestinal problems all week since taking this probiotic. I will be switching back to Prescript Assist Probiotics.

This product is supposed to be refrigerated while shipped and it was not. This may result in lack of effectiveness and thus a waste of my money

I got this for my mom who has major digestive issues. My mom is dairy-free and her supplements need to be as well. She is taking it and says that it does not bother her and in time we will see how it helps her. She took it to her dr and dietician and they agree that this was a very good product for her. So, yay, and hopefully this will make her life easier.

Jarrow is a brand that was recommended by my physician. I have used other products from Jarrow and definitely reap the benefits. These probiotics. are packaged well and are recommendable - I am looking for at least 50 billion cells per capsule now.

I read about Jarrow Ideal Bowel being helpful in some cases of eczema and psoriasis in a Ray Peat article because it contains Lactobacillus Plantarum. My husband has Parkinson's Disease and one symptom of that for him is extremely greasy hair along with inflamed areas on his scalp, face and ear lobes that flake in a waxy substance. He has taken the Ideal Bowel formula for 5 days, so far, as an experiment and in skeptic mode. We are amazed to see a 60-70% improvement in inflammation and flaking of skin! Improvement was visible by Day 2! The greasiness is still occurring but that's OK. There is a gut dysbiosis problem in many Parkinson's patients- research is going on though we are not aware of paremeters. Hopefully they will look at L. Plantarum.
