Q: This product says it comes from California but in reality it was sent from China and received 20 days after ordered. The bulbs were old, small?

Q: If this is advertised don't buy "chinese fakes", why is everyone saying they are from china?

Amazon. Allows Chinese vendors to sell on our listings. Some customers buy from these vendors thinking it is our product. We are in Missouri and have nothing to do with China. These Chinese fakes often take a long time to ship and quality is poor. This causes bad reviews on our products.

Q: Will this plant grow in the tropical climate, and when it best to plant seeds?

I don't know. I live in Florida and it is HOT HOT and rainy ! and mine are thriving ! I planted them when I got them and I keep the soil moist and on the patio - so they receive direct sun for a few hours daily and they are going like gangbusters! Once they peak out from the soil they GROW!! So don't plant them deeper than the depth of 1" recommended. Keep the green growth trimmed to 1". Mine is growing about 1" or more daily! So we trim them daily! I can't wait to harvest them ! I think it's SO cool! I've had great success so far !

Yes these will grow in tropical climate. There is really no bad time to plant if you have no winter in a tropical climate.
