First, just for clarification, the item is described as “2 Gang” because it has two switches but not because it fits a two gang electrical box. It is almost the same size a “single gang” (in electricians parlance) light switch. The only difference is that the switch pair is about 1/16” bigger than a regular rocker style light switch in both dimensions. So if you tried to fit a standard rocker faceplate it would be too small. Luckily, you don’t need to because a really nice screwless (hidden screw) faceplate is included in the kit.The nice thing about this units size is that you can now fit two switches into a single gang box in the wall, if mounted sideways, and double you switching ability instantly.Installation is super simple. I believe this switch works best with solid electrical wire and not stranded. This is due to the fact that the connections in the back of the switch are push style only. There are no screw style connections to trap curled wire under like standard switches. Once the electrical connections are made, you just screw the backplate switch combo into the box. The screwless faceplate then just pops into place with the molded tabs on the back which engage slots on the backing plate. Done.The switches themselves are easy to operate and give a nice satisfying click when turned on or off. I much prefer this tactile feedback compared with some others that feel squishy when pressed. The LEDs also give you a clear indication of status which is a great feature.Finally, something I did find a little odd is that if you install it with the company logo upright and legible than you will need to press the bottom of the rocker to turn the switch on. I think this is the European way, down for on and up for off. I opted to install it with the logo upside down so you flip it up to turn the lights on 'Murica style (read with a southern accent).All-in-all, I really like this switch.

I ordered this switch to replace two regular toggle switches in a very inconveniently placed wall box. Unfortunately the switches are too big for a standard Decora wall plate.A standard Decora wall plate opening measures 2-20/32" x 1-5/16".The switches for this item require an opening that measures 2-23/32" x 1-7/16".It otherwise appears to be a well made switch with good action. It is just not usable for me.

Nice product, easy to install. I thought the red dots were LED lights, but it turns out they're just painted on. Note that this isn't the standard US metal plate mount, so you'll need to use the included front plate, and your old plate won't fit

I was doing to rewiring in my workshop and needed to add 2 switches. Where the existing switch was located it would have been a major hassle to add more / bigger boxes. The wiring was accessible from behind. Using this 3 gang switch made the little project much easier.As others have mentioned, the plate is not a standard Decora size but one is provided so no biggie. The switches do have a nice action to them - a definite snap when switching. The indicator light is a plus, especially since one of the them is controlling a bench circuit with my soldering iron on it.Very pleased and would buy again.

This 3 gang switch was perfect for our room. I replaced it with an older one that we had and it wasn’t clicking anymore. I never did this before but was able to easily replace it with no issues. It’s well made and looks great on the wall. It was easy to install and the buttons turn on and off easily. The light works perfectly now without issues.

VERDICTRecommendedWHYThis is a well made 3 switch outlet with cover plate. It reminds me of the ones in Japan and Taiwan by the brand National (Panasonic). The individual switches can be released and changed. While I prefer the Japanese ones, these are not bad at all.

I found this switch just at the right moment when ours in the bathroom had given up it's function. The product arrived quickly and was easy to install. Word of caution : standard cover plate will not fit this switch. I am happy to say that it comes with the right one in the box, so it was not a problem for us. We like that the function lights come on when switched. This is a very nice, though unusual switch which reminds me of the one we have in our Japanese home.
