This is really awesome! I would definitely buy it again
This is really awesome! I would definitely buy it again. The only issue is that the little bumpers that go around the perimeter of the metal come off and get lost in the garbage disposal. We've lost two for good down the drain, but I'm constantly having to stick my hand in disposal to fish them out. Images of an awful horror movie come to mind every time. But without them, the metal just bumps the side of the sink and is almost worse than not having protection on the bottom. Rohl, if you have loose bumpers, send a handful... we'll need them over the next few years!!Good Luck! Donna10/31/18 Just a note a few months later... the rack comes with little rubber bumpers on each side to protect sink. Sadly, they come off and go down the drain. I fish for these once a week in the garbage disposal (yikes) and have lost a few permanently. If we loose too many then the rack causes more damage than good. I'd love to buy more bumpers, but I just haven't had time to put into fixing what was supposed to be my fix. :)

Chrome is Better Than White...
The Rohl Sink Protector Grid is pretty much a necessity of you are planning to preserve/protect the pristine condition of your farm sink. The first one we purchased was white (basically the chrome/metal version dipped in a white rubberized/high impact plastic). Unfortunately, every time we placed a hot pot on the grid, the plastic would melt and look dirty. We would have been much better off (and a little richer) if we had opted for the chrome version, which doesn't have the "hot pot" issue.

Worth the price
I like this rack very much. I haven’t had any problems with the little cushions on the feet that were mentioned by others. This rack is a very heavy gauge wire so I don’t worry about setting even my heaviest cast iron pots on it. I had been using a cheaper rack that didn’t fit my sink well and it disrupted the water flow in the sink, this one doesn’t do that and I love that the opening in the rack perfectly matches the sink drain hole. Yes, this rack is pricey, but the Rohl sink is too!

Protect your expensive farmhouse sink!
This is my 3rd sink grid in 10 years. The second only lasted about 2 years. It will last longer if the chef in your kitchen refrains from putting hot pots & pans straight into the sink! I wouldn't go without one.

Single broken plastic foot cover renders item useless
This item arrived with one of the plastic metal foot coverings damaged and unable to cover metal post. This is unacceptable quality assurance and I have seen others that have had similar issues. It would be a simple and very low cost fix to include an extra plastic foot cover for these occurrences but this is a company that appears not to want to implement a simple change to help their customers.

fits the sink prefectly
Got it for my rohl sink. Wish I would have gotten it earlier. Within the 5 months that I had my sink without the grid, I got 3 big chips that could have being prevented with the grid.It is somewhat expensive, but I don't know if there is any cheaper one that will fit as well as this one.Definitely worth the money.

Good product, too expensive
This rack fits my Rohl ceramic farm sink perfectly. It is sturdy and can tolerate hot pots being placed on it unlike the white coated version which I am replacing. I had thought I would like the white one because my sink is white, but the coating started coming off in many places and it was very difficult to keep clean. I’m much happier with the stainless version, though I feel these racks are way too expensive. Unfortunately I don’t feel that I can avoid using a rack as my sink is not holding up very well either though I am very careful with it.

White vinyl finish not durable and stains easily.
Great concept, protects my white farmhouse sink. BUT... white vinyl nicks easily, even though I'm incredibly careful. The vinyl also stains. For example, tomato sauce will stain it. So we have to take it out of the sink whenever any tomato-based foods will be rinsed off in the sink. Really inconvenient. I've had this for only 2.5 years and I am going to replace it with a stainless steel grate.
