Florence Nightingale's Nuns (Vision Books)

Excellent!
I ordered this for our parish library. It is categorized as a book for youth, but I think it is also a great book for adults looking for easy reading. Reading this book will give the reader a good understanding of the dedication of the nurses who cared for patients in condition that were absolutely abominable during the Crimean War. Florence Nightingale was not a Catholic, but she admired the Nuns that she worked with and found them to be some of the best nurses.

An excellent read
As a nurse I studied Florence Nightingale and her philosophy of nursing. I never knew that she had taken nuns with her to the battlefields.I had purchased the book for my granddaughter, but I read it myself and enjoyed it immensely.

A short informative book about the nuns who nursed with Florence Nightingale. Interesting historical facts.
Very interesting. Have lent to a few friends. I know many of the areas and places mentioned in the book and I obtained facts which I previously didn't know.
