420 Stainless Steel Knife (420 Stainless Steel, Pair of 3 inch Blades)

These blades are really great blades for either a hobby or someone that makes knives. They're a good size skinning style blade and fit well in the hand unless you have a large hand. They're a sharp blade but I can't say how long they hold an edge as I Avent used one for a long period of time.

Dislike. Extra step for me, a rookie knife handle maker.

good material. knives hold an edge well. only wish the brass was easier to protect for both polishing and attaching the handles. the holes seem really small when 2-4 slightly larger holes will work. If you drill other pin holes (as I did) use a good carbide tipped bit, lots of oil and slower speeds. does just fine. Added a blue acrylic handle and a red acrylic handle. They both turned out well. Ordered 4 more.

These are nice blades for the money. I needed to make a couple of knives quickly and these saved me the time of having to mill out and braze on a blade guard. I only wish they had a link to a leather sheath because I am a lousy leather worker,

One was good the other one was poorly machined

The knives were of good Quality. I made custom scales with names and gifted them to members of our hunting party. The handle part of the knives were very rusted, and that is the reason for the 4 star. It took extra time to clean them up.

If you are looking for a great project, you can't go wrong with this set. You can put identical handles on them for a set of twins, or make them different. Good quality to work with.
