キットはERTLのもので細部まで再現されており パーツどうしの合いもよく、作り易く良いキットだと思います。 ボディは他グレードと共有しているため、 ライトニングのボディにするためには少し加工が必要です。 ボディの両側にあるサイド・トリムを全て削り落として 綺麗に整えなければならないので面倒な作業になります。 特に気にならない方は、そのまま組み立てた方が楽だと思います。 あと、フロント・グリルとサイド・ミラーはメッキパーツで用意されていますが、 実車はフロント・グリルはボディカラー、サイド・ミラーはブラックなので メッキを落として黒塗装しました。 ボディの横に貼るデカールのライトニングの青い文字が黒ボディに貼ると同化して 全く見えなくなり、下の白い波線だけになってしまいました。 仕方なくシート（座席の背の部分）に貼るライトニングの白文字を貼ってごまかしました。
