Large size oven that is great!
This is awesome! I've had a couple of other Black & Deckers that were smaller with air fryer features but this one is a straight-up toaster oven / convection oven. It's very wide and holds a 9 by 13 pan easy. Because of the air flow it cooks quickly. Everything I've made so far came out great. And I've made a lot including cookies and a pie and meat dishes. If you're looking for a good quality toaster oven at a good price I'd go with this one. People complain that it makes a lot of noise but I think they might have the drip pan in upside down. When I first put the drip pan in and it was upside down it rattled when the oven was running and I realized I had put it in upside down. When I corrected it, the rattling stopped. As far as the short cord, you can use an extension cord so I don't see the big deal. Overall, I love it!

It's true what everyone say's about this oven--spacious--good for baking
I've considered and researched getting a toaster oven for sometime. My oven hasn't been working well and it may be up in the air as to finding parts or replacing it with all the trade uncertainty at this time. I looked at many ovens, whew--there are so many! I liked the way the French door ovens looked, but decided it wouldn't be best for baking and keeping an even temp. The height was an important factor, as I want it for baking. I finally decided on this Black & Decker oven--it had the most height(11.5")--and I think it could even be another inch or two taller. Other than for cookies I've been baking on the lowest rack. This has two rack levels, and its very spacious--I fit a 10 x 15 bake sheet in it easily. The whole oven is not very heavy, but does look well made. I found the turn the oven on timer a little awkward, I'll have to adjust to that. The cord was also a little short, so had to plug into a surge cord and thats been working OK. The oven did loud vibrate sometimes( my rattling pans?) not sure--but the oven has been working great. I've been using this oven often for baking homemade pizza, apple empanadas, rustic olive rolls, etc. I haven't tried yet many of the other possibilities, like lasagna, enchiladas, pies, etc,--I haven't even baked a cookie yet. So far this has been exceeding my expectations. I will need to learn adjust the temp settings. It does seem to follow recipe guidelines as far as temperature goes. I wish it had 5 min increments on the timer setting. You have to turn the timer on to turn the oven on--I still find that odd. Finally I wish the directions were better and maybe some recipes. I'm mostly pleased with this oven, and can see why its so popular. Other than some minor oddities, its spacious, fairly easy to use, and its very cost effective--Whats not to like?

Good, with some caveats.
I like that its extra wide so we can fit bigger casserole dishes, or more bread. Heats fast and toasts food up quick. Only complaints so far are the knobs are a little stiff and can be slightly hard to turn for some people. Also, the loud bell/ringing noise when the timer goes off is annoying. I've never understood who that feature is for. Who wants a loud beeping/ringing bell noise when their food is done? Especially if you have to heat something up later at night when people are sleeping. Stop putting loud beeping/bells in toaster ovens and microwaves! Minus one star for the loud bell and the knobs being hard to turn.

Huge toaster oven!
We ordered this to replace an old one of different make. When it arrived, we were shocked at the size. It is large and in charge! Work great.

Great oven, horrible instructions, HUGE price increase just before Christmas!
I've had this toaster oven for about a month now and, after doing some scavenger hunting on the internet for instructions and a little trial and error, I think it's going to pretty much replace my regular gas oven. Let me save you a little frustration as to the lack of instructions, especially pertaining to the convection feature. If you select the "Bake" setting, the convection feature is activated. There is no way to turn it off, which is actually fine. What I have discovered is, if I'm baking baked goods (cookies, muffins, etc) you need to decrease the baking temperature by 25 degrees or reduce the baking time by about 25 %, or both. If you reduce the temp, start checking for doneness about 3/4 of the way through the baking process. If I'm baking a casserole, which contains more liquids or the like('cream of' soups, eggs, cheese, etc) I use the recommended temperature in the recipe and let it cook the full amount of time. I made a tuna noodle casserole last week and it was perfect using the recipe exactly as written. I haven't used the broil feature for meat yet, so I don't have a point of reference for that feature and, as I'm single and just make toast in a regular 2 slice toaster, I also don't have a review for the toast feature (I don't need 8 slices of toast at once.) What I LOVE about this oven is being able to use my regular pans! I had a smaller toaster oven before and got frustrated by having to buy special pans for it. I ended up buying a lot of disposable aluminum pans. With this oven, I can use all of my regular pans (I have several Pampered Chef ones that I wasn't able to use in the old toaster oven) except for a couple of my larger baking stones. So far, everything has baked so much more evenly than in my full sized gas oven that I'm absolutely thrilled. So, as far as the way the oven functions and the results I've had when cooking with it, I am very satisfied with this oven. The only negative comment that I have about it is that the instructions are almost non-existent. An individual shouldn't have to do 2 hours of research online and watch youtube videos to learn how to properly use this product. They really need to include an actual instruction manual, with a few recipes included for each feature of the oven, instead of a big sheet of pitiful basic instructions that are written in about a dozen different languages. I think that most of the negative reviews that I've seen could have been avoided if this were the case. Does the outside of the oven get hot? Yes, it's a toaster oven, not an insulated range, so move it away from the wall. The crumb tray slides into the slots underneath the OUTSIDE of the oven, it doesn't go inside and I believe this is the reason that so many people are saying it never gets hot enough. The convection feature comes on and stays on when baking, there's no way to shut it off. All of this could should be explained in an actual instruction manual. My last comment pertains to the price. At $67 in November, this oven was a great value. Less than a month later, it's $96!!!! Had it been this price originally, I'm not sure I would have purchased it. So, my review is A for the the oven itself, D for the lack of instructions and the $30 price hike just before Christmas.

This product works on a 110V AC source . Amazon is supplying it with a local step down transformer from 230V to 110V to make it suitable for Indian conditions . The transformer supplied is not working . I made a complaint to Black & Decker who sent a technician and he rectified the transformer on his second visit . Within the first use , the main MCB tripped indicating overload or short circuit in the transformer . Black & Decker refuses to service / replace the transformer saying it’s not their product . It’s just been a month since delivery and issue isn’t getting resolved . Will Amazon come forward to sort out the mess ?

We love the large interior size! The exterior size is almost the same as our old regular-sized toaster oven. We use it daily to bake, make toast and reheat food. Being able to use regular-sized cookware like a 9x12 pan is a game changer! Great product! Highly recommended.

We bought this item in Feb 2019. It worked fine for two months and then suddenly stopped heating. We called Black&Decker customer care at Bangalore and they sent a repairman at our home in Pune. He couldnt' even open the item to repair and concluded that it can't be fixed. We were told that this product is out of production now and can't get the spare parts anymore. Total waste of money ! Do not buy this .

I love that I can fit my larger 16 by 12 inch pan in it. Keeps a good temperature. The only problem that I have with it is the timer knob. It is really stiff and hard to turn off.
