I had low expectations for this product given the price. I replaced the car radio for my Toyota Sienna to get CarPlay and it was expensive and a lot of work. For my Toyota 4Runner, replacing the radio is not practical given the non-standard form-factor. When I saw some reviews of this product I was skeptical on many fronts, but the reviews were excellent so I decided to go ahead. I purchased the 9" model. Installation was relatively easy (see below). The unit started up and was immediately seen by my phone and car radio Bluetooth. CarPlay soon followed and worked as advertised. When I start the car, the unit powers on and CarPlay starts up. The screen has an excellent image and is far better than the factory radio. I checked out the front camera (supplied) and found that it ran automatically and delivered a great image. The unit automatically stores time slices of what it sees for later recovery or playback. I wasn't fond of the provided boot up screen, but an email to the support team quickly got a Toyota image which was easily added. The unit comes with several mounting options. My 4Runner precludes one otherwise solid mount by having a mottled dash that doesn't provide a good mounting surface. I've had bad experiences with windshield mounting options which fall off with heat and direct sunlight. The unit is light enough that it probably wouldn't be damaged when this occurs, but I prefer a more robust option. I use RAM mounts for a more solid mount given I drive off-road frequently. I took one of the provided mounts apart to get the base bracket. I used a 10-32 screw to attach it to a base RAM mount with a ball and used the RAM system off my dash to attach the screen. So far this is working well. In summary, the device far exceeded my expectations. The image is great and it just works to provide an easy path to CarPlay or the Android equivalent.

I purchased this product because I wanted wireless access to Apple CarPlay in my car. Also, because so many functions are handled by the Ford Sync screen, I needed to be able to see both screens Apple CarPlay, and Sync at the same time. This unit allows me to do this and the best part is it syncs with my phone and my car both through Bluetooth, and automatically, I get into the car and within a few seconds it’s all working. The screen is easy to read, does not get in the way of driving vision, and is extremely bright. The unit was easy to mount, it fit on a magnetic mount already in my car, and there are so many different ways of mounting this to the dash there should be no problem with installation on any car. I have an iPhone, but all the connections seem to be there for an android as well. I would recommend this for anybody wants to extend to multiple monitors in their car. There is also a function to stream movies and mirror your phone to this device, which may prove very useful on vacations when passengers would like to see a video on long trip. And the price was very reasonable.

I've been using wireless Android Auto through my Kenwood Stereo and AAwireless adapter for a few years now. It was a great idea, but had issues. The AAwireless adapter would constant disconnect. Different phones, radios and adapters all had the same issue. Also, the lower mounted screen made navigation a little clunky as I have to keep looking down. This product resolves all my issues and adds a 4k dash cam to top it all off. Love the bright, large 9" screen that I can position closer to my line of sight. connects quickly and have not had a single drop out. Start-up is fast, integration over bluetooth is fantastic with no issues, touchscreen is responsive and glare has not been an issue. I only have 2 small complaints: 1. The suction cup mount has an extendable arm which allows it to be angled and extended perfectly. Only problem is, it keeps falling off of the dash disc. I've cleaned/alcoholed the mounting disc, clean and air-dried the suction cup over and over and it just keeps falling off. by day 3 it would last about 30 seconds. That was very frustrating. The adhesive mounting bracket is super solid, but doesn't have an extendable arm. I'm in the process of making a modifiable extension with a long m5 x 0.8 bolt with some washers and nuts to bring it out closer. I wish they made an extendable arm for the adhesive mounting bracket because the suction cup bracket is useless. 2. I love the ability to change the boot screen picture. Makes the screen look somewhat OEM. However, you can't do it in the settings menu. You have to email them with your order# and what make of vehicle you have. They will email back the updated firmware with the logo image within 24 hours. You copy the firmware and image to the sd card and plug in the device. it automatically installs from there. If you want a custom image you just replace the photo with your photo and name it the same thing. Its pretty simple, but takes an extra step. 2b. I haven't spent too much time on it, but I don't think the homescreen is customizable at all. I really don't see any need to, but I appreciate customization. also, if you get back in the car within 5 minutes or so the android auto seems to reconnect and come up automatically, but after that it goes to the home screen and you have to push the android auto button. Would be nice if there was a setting to automatically bring up Android Auto or Carplay to save a button press. I realize this is very just being nitpicky, but would be nice. Overall, an outstanding product that modernizes any vehicle equipped with bluetooth. Highly recommended.

First off, this is absolutely worth the price I paid. Any cons below are all minor and I still would recommend this unit to anyone. Support has been very responsive through their Facebook page. I am using the aux cable out to my system and sound is as good as anything else I have hooked up. I cannot speak to the FM or Bluetooth output as I have not tried them. Bluetooth connectivity to the unit from my phone has been stable and connects every time but does take a bit (but less than a minute). I am using the CarPlay feature, and it works great. Screen resolution is great and touch response is as I would expect however, reflections on the screen are annoying at times, so an anti-glare screen would be a huge improvement. Camera quality is good. Rear camera bracket may take some manipulation depending on your mounting requirements. Reverse connection to the system works fine but due to the unit taking a little time to boot on power-up, you may have to wait a bit for the camera to show, but I feel this is a minor thing for an add-on system. Also, adjustable reverse lines would be a great improvement. Versatile mounting options. Installation was pretty straight forward in my Nissan Titan. Would like a fixed mounting bracket as I could not get the adjustable bracket to sit very compact in my installation and bounces quite a bit. This unit uses screen mirroring for "AirPlay" and does not actually AirPlay from apps. In turn the display would stretch to fit the iPhone aspect ratio to the screen in turn "squashing" the image. I could not find an option to scale without stretching to maintain the video aspect ratio.

Let me qualify my review based on returning the 1st unit due to an issue, now returning the 2nd one. I tried both units using iPhone 13 and Samsung Flip phone. PROS: - Very good screen resolution - Camera is quite solid as well, very good resolution - The wide mount will stay in put in an F5 tornado, it is not moving CONS: - Setup instructions are of no value. The photos I had in the manual didn't match my display (which I figured was due to the software being more current, not unusual) nor did any of the setup written words match what was happening. Never receive confirmation that it is paired with a phone. - Had to do the setup process everytime I used it. I learned quickly if I was navigating somewhere, stopped for any reason such as gas, the route was forgotten. Result was I had to reselect it. - Nav audio to play thru car bluetooth was almost a nightmare by itself. I could play podcasts with no issue, but nav worked when it seemingly felt like it. In summary, I will never buy this again. Some people have had very good luck with theirs. Not everyone, so if you purchase it, be prepared for the unknown when setting it up. Hopefully it will work great for you, but no longer anything I wish to deal with.

The screen works, and is bright. A little too bright even at the lowest setting with tired eyes. Connected to my phone with no issue, however, the screen would lose connection on a regular basis. Sometimes completely, sometimes it would just stutter a bit and lose the tempo of the songs. This could be user error, but I also could not find a way to make it only lower the volume of music while maps directions were being said. When directions are spoken, the music stops completely and is a bit jarring while trying to enjoy the tunes. My truck with CarPlay will simply lower the volume instead of muting it. Dash cam worked perfectly, but the adjustable mount jiggles a lot, and the screen doesn’t seem to actually lock into the mount so if anything pushes up on the screen it will possibly fall off the mount. I had this happen a few times because I tried to rest it on the dash to stop the jiggle. Overall it works as intended, but the connection loss to car play may be a larger issue.

Having a car that is incompatible with American GPS and lacking an AUX cable makes it very difficult to play music, especially when removing the current radio unit is not an option. However this unit has everything I was looking for. The most important aspects is that it is easy to set up and use, as simple as turning it on and connecting the phone via Bluetooth. After that, it’s ready to go with everything you could need on the road. I mainly use music and maps, and so far I have had no issues. Best of all, it’s not laggy like a lot of other products. One of my favourite features of this model is that you can actually use screen mirroring by connecting via the unit’s WiFi channel, which lets you play things like YouTube or recorded lectures while driving. I use the FM option for the device, and it sounds great! I have an iPhone so I cannot speak towards Android’s CarPlay, but I would assume it is as efficient. There is also a built-in dashcam which is very helpful, and when viewing the footage it is of good quality as can be expected when it is in relation to the other features. Overall, this is a great choice that negates the need for spending $200+ on other devices when this already does everything you could need without issue.

This is the absolute perfect addition to your vehicle! Especially if you spend a lot of time on the road!! The Apple CarPlay works flawlessly! I can have my maps from my phone and all my music with a basic stereo that doesn’t have a screen! The dash cam works great and the picture quality is amazing! You can download footage to your phone via the app. The quality is so good you can read license plate numbers! It also has airplay so you can stream videos or movies from your phone to the screen. The units screen quality is great and the touch is super responsive! No delay or lag when using it! 1 downfall that is no big deal. You cannot connect to Bluetooth during airplay. It uses the on-board speaker for streaming but the speaker quality is good! No problems hearing or understanding it. It may work with an aux cord but I have not tried it yet. Another downfall is it does not have its own Bluetooth connection to the stereo. It uses your phones Bluetooth. Again, not a deal breaker just kind of a hassle. Overall I give it 4.8567289 stars out of 5! Definitely recommend!
