Go Power! (GP-PSK-40 40W Portable Solar Kit with 10 Amp Solar Controller

For the same price you get 90W vs the previous 80 kit.Note the DBA/name difference (vs Go Power = GP), it's just the Canadian vs USA branches of the same company.The controller I received is different (digital/newer?) than the one pictured here on Amazon.The legs are a little wonky but nothing to dock a star over.The carrying case is sturdy.If you don't live in the desert, you'll need to purchase the extended cables to drag the panels around to follow the sun during the day (if your RV is under trees that's great for the temps but not the panels' charging rate).Using on an RV in Wisco, cloudy days are abundant, and charges lead batteries fairly slow (not GP's fault, that's the slow lead charging rate). Looking into switching to a Lithium battery for faster charging, otherwise happy with this kit. I also called & spoke w/ their CS team, rep was very knowledgeable, friendly & helpful.

While I thought this cost more than some solar alternatives, when I received it I was very impressed with the quality of this product. The cabling and connectors are top drawer. It folds nicely for transport with an amazing storage cover. I connected this to my 2 coach batteries at 1:00 today and they went from 61% charged to 84% by 6:30pm.

Spent a week camping and was able to keep my camper battery charged...this seems to work as promised. But, I need a longer cord to capture the sun....so keep that in mind if you like shady camping areas. I ended up pulling the battery to charge it...The Go Power is easy to use and packs up in a great portable case.

The Go Power 40 came quickly and is a nicely made product. We tried it on our next camping trip and it charged our battery back to full power from half in about three hours. This is going to make our next long trip one of peace of mind. We will dry camp often and expect no lack of power!

As advertised Great product and handy size and case.Requires lots of sunlight and charges slow. Buy a bigger unit if you need more charging.

This Portable Solar kit is just what I needed, It was wonderfully packaged. It was easy to set up and and cables that connect to my 12 volt battery was easy to connect. I would never be without one

Lots of nice features and connections. Compact and easy to set-up. Not sure I would pay the big bucks again for 40 watts, since I won't be using it all that often. Quality is excellent.

Works great when no electric is available.
