It’s been a year now and the color stopped changing about two months ago. I hardly use it as I prefer over medium eggs instead of hard boiled eggs and it’s not working, so that’s the reason it got 3 stars

Didn’t believe it at first but gave these a shot. Made the perfect 6 minute egg and hard boiled eggs. Was pleasantly surprised by how good they worked.

My tried and true Norpro egg timer went missing, and I figured I would try this two pack. They're so cute. A yellow chicken is much more suitable than a red orb. Plus, the description explicitly says that they are BPA and BPF free, and chemically safe! Unfortunately after several uses, they eggs were always pretty soft boiled despite the timer showing no more yellow. I wouldn't recommend this product.
