Nice bag for adding stability to your tripod. Holds a gallon jug of water nicely, which would weigh 8 lbs and makes for a much more stable platform. I suggest an 8-10 lbs max weight which should be plenty sufficient. Bag folds well when closing the tripod without having to make any extra adjustments. Makes for a nice shelf to place extras such as lens covers, remote, flash or whatever when shooting.Inner side of cloth is rubber vinyl coated for wiping clean if needed. Straps hold and adjust well.The red trim matches well with my Manfrotto 502AH fluid head as well!Good purchase I would not want to be without. Shipping was quicker than I expected.

This product exceeded my expectations. It is stronger, more well made and more versatile than it looked from its picture and its description. It is light, easy to carry and, because of heavy duty Velcro, it quickly connects to my tripod. I can add or remove any combination of weight I choose for any weather condition Mother Nature throws at me.

Had tried another and it was too small. Liked this because it was larger and could hold supplies.

I got this for a different purpose then weighting down my tripod. I do some astrophotography at night and this bag is a handy way to keep track of things you might need in the dark so they don't get lost on the ground.

I use this to hold my tripod down on the passenger seat floor if my truck. I do a lot of interviews when driving. I purchased a new truck and was trying to figure out how to set up the tripod. This was perfect. I made a couple sand bags with my vac sealer. It holds the 15lbs I have in it. Tripod is rock solid. I do have a safety line from the seat to the tripod in case of a quick stop.

I use this on the tripod I use for doing astrophotography. I put parts of my tracker and other small items in it. Velcro holds up well.

used to steady3 tri-pods while video taping an outdoor concert. Just used a heavy brick in each. Could music and clothing ruffling in the breeze but the picture was clear and steady.
