New WRAP Around Bed Skirt/DUST Ruffle - 18" Drop, Queen/King, Beige

I bought 2 of these, one for my mom and one for me. Mom really likes not having to struggle with a heavy & bulky mattress to have a nice bed skirt on her bed. I enjoy it for the same reason. However, I find that it likes to slip a few inches down my mattress and therefore bunches a bit on the floor. Also, with a bed frame as I have, I can't have it cover the beautiful wood at the foot of the bed, so I tuck it behind the frame, which means it's awkwardly sticking out on each end. It's hard to explain what I mean. The wrap around bed skirt is a great idea and helps solve a real problem, but it hadn't occurred to me before I purchased one for myself how it would go behind the bootboard and not look strange. But I'll continue to use it rather than wrestle with the full bed skirts...those are just too much of a hassle.

I'm very happy with the bed skirt, it's long enough to cover the ugly risers and all the stuff stored under our bed.It's very convenient, I don't have to lift a heavy pillow top mattress as with standard flat bed skirts. I ordered beige, and it looks more off white than beige, but still happy with it. I ordered for a queen/king size and it does sag a bit, but nothing that isn't fixed with a safety pin taking up some of the elastic at the head of the bed. If you have a queen size bed, you might want to order a full size for a more snug fit.

Shipping was prompt. As has been mentioned, the skirt required ironing (I don't have a dryer) and something in the fabric kept sticking to the iron. Had to stop several times to clean iron's base plate. I found the size a little too loose for my new queen boxspring. You really need to order the 'pins' to keep it where you want it. Otherwise, it sags. I hadn't ordered the pins, so used straight pins for now. Seems to work OK. Also, there are no cuts at the corners. If your bed has a footboard, you will need to make the cuts (and hem them) yourself in order for the skirt to hang properly. Luckily, I don't have a dog or cat, so the dust ruffle can go quite a while without laundering.

Why is it so difficult to find a white wrap around bed skirt with an 18 inch drop that actually fits the bed. I find it unnerving to see sizes TWIN/FULL. A wrap around bed skirt that fits a fits a twin DOES NOT FIT a full size bed! The skirt is so stretched to fit a full size that it is barely gathered. Companies should just make a FULL size! Not everyone has a queen or king bed! I want to buy full size to fit my full size bed. Buying a FULL/QUEEN is too big. A queen is 6 full inches wider than a full. If it fits a queen size, it's too big for a full! Exasperating!

This bed skirt is absolutely perfect. It arrived very tightly packaged with a lot of resulting wrinkles, but 10 minutes in the dryer with a wet towel removed them all. It was very easy to put on and fits my queen bed nicely with no adjustments needed. The elastic strap has a button and perforations to make any necessary adjustments, but I didn't need to. The drop length is perfect. The only thing I would have liked is to have split corners, but there's enough fullness in the fabric that I can make it work nicely at the corners. Great product - wish I'd bought it sooner.

Good product...I just wish It would have come a bit shorter and would actually stay where you placed it since the pins did not work at all that I purchased separately just for this bed skirt.

This bedskirt does not fit well. It is too small for our full size bed, even though it was a twin/full size. It often snaps up above the box springs and gets lost under the mattress. I wish I'd gone with a traditional bedskirt. I find myself monkeying around with it EVERY day to keep it in place. If you're putting it on a bed which rarely gets used, I'd say its ok but for a regularly used bed - I'd pass and get the real thing.

Easy to put on- my box spring is brown so the skirt slips down a little just have to tuck it it up under mattress a bit . I got the ivory skirt-it's good I like it!
