Expensive but worth it if you are fair skinned.I have very white skin - and actually dislike being in the sun for extended periods as I get uncomfortable.I used Banana Boat products last year when I was fortunate enough to spend some time in Naples, where the temperature got to 35C and it worked well.This time, I was due to go to Seville in Spain, and noticed that there was a SPF100 which sounded like it was made for me.I used this all holiday, and was able to be out in 30-36C clear sunlight for about 6 hours at a time. The product has a clean and fresh aroma, and although initially the application seems to not be absorbed, it does disappear quite quickly if you massage it in for a minute or two.Coverage is good - I didnt even get through one bottle and was applying it twice a day.Biggest positive is that it works - I came back with literally no tan after a week of constant sun.For me, Banana boat is my go to suncream now - I appreciate that it is a bit more pricey than some rivals, but I have only ever had good experiences with it, and would choose it again over anything else.

I have suffered for 5 years, all of a sudden I ended up with pleomorphic light eruption, which basically means I am allergic to the the UVA and UVB rays really badly, I have tried everything, factor 70 last year when I went on holiday to Greece and burned straight through it. I was miserable all holiday as I felt like someone was tipping a boiling kettle all over my body, the pain, lumps, redness and severe it hung even after taking antihistamines was horrendous and couldn’t wait to get home, I couldn’t sleep on a night as my skin was burning so much and so hot! So I have looked for a higher factor than factor 70.Even when it isn’t that hot I burn. I saw this cream and have used it few times, I have found it has made such a difference, also have used it when I have sat in the garden (which I couldn’t do before) i do cover myself and keep reapplying and I don’t feel like I am having a kettle poured over me, I still get a bit red, but doesn’t make me feel like I am burning, don’t come out in lumps, or have severe itching and have skin so hot you could cook an egg on it.I am going to buy again for when I go away. Personally I would recommend. It is a little thick but does rub in, nothing I didn't expect with factor 100

Seems to really protect from the sun.If you really want to protect your skin, this is a good product!Not greasy and feels ok on the skin and doesn’t have a strong smell.Will buy it again although buying two is a bit pricy.

Excellent sun cream highly water repellent, kids did mention it stung a little (after they had caught a bit of sun and with chlorine). This is not unusual though and was only mild, continued to use as they were properly protected.

Used this for a cycle touring trip where most days were 6 plus hours out in the sun sweating cobs trying to keep up with my fitter companions. It did not need re-applying very often and was very water resistant (sweat and shower!). It kept me sunburn free and my lack of Tour de France style tan was commented on when I got back to the UK which I see as a good thing.

Love this sunscreen. Yes, it's really thick to put on but that means it stays put and doesn't get in your eyes if you're doing active sports. I have very fair skin and I've never burnt using the 100spf. Wouldn't buy anything else

A complete waste of money and not fit for purpose. Within 20 minutes of applying it’s in your eyes and what’s worse you can taste it. No way in this world will you be protected because it runs off your skin at a right rate of knots. The worst sunscreen I have ever bought. Avoid.

Die beste Sonnencreme für starke Sonnentage! Man sollte wegen des Octocrylen nicht mit ihr ins Meer aber fürs Schwimmbad/ Festival ist es die beste Lösung. Schwitzt sich nicht runter und klebt überhaupt nicht

Awesome SPF. I used Eucerin 100SP before these, but I can say that these are better in any way. You get a thick white layer when first putting it on, but just wait, the white will soon be absorbed and you have great protection.

Works well but takes time to dry.
