This review is about three years late, but I wanted to share my experience because this has been an excellent first dash camera. I’ve had it running 24/7 for years, and it’s even survived two different cars without any issues. Most importantly, it helped save me after one accident by providing the footage I needed. Considering it’s been powered almost constantly, I’m honestly impressed that it’s never overheated, failed, or had any problems with the internal battery. I still have all of the original accessories, although I ended up buying the hardwire kit separately for 24/7 recording. The only issue I’ve had after all this time is that the suction cup mount finally broke, which is actually why I’m here looking for a replacement. Overall, it’s been a great product, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable dash camera. I hope I’ll able to find a replacement suction cup and get many more years out of it.

This product honestly feels like a scam for what it is being advertised for. I wish I could give this no stars and get a refund. When I first installed this dashcam, everything seemed to be going fine. It was recording, it turned on when my car turned on, and it didn't get in the way of my driving. Sure the front facing video seemed a bit overexposed, but other than that, it seemed fine. This was until I got rear-ended two days ago and thought that finally my paranoia and precautions would pay off, and I could give the video to my insurance company. This is when I realized that not only was my camera not recording, it apparently had stopped recording months ago! Despite the product page saying that there is loop recording, there is not and instead when the SD card was full, it stopped recording anything completely. There's no notification on the screen and will actually say that it's still recording when it clearly isn't. I've scoured through the user manual to see if I had missed something or didn't install it right, but no I followed it to a T because it was also advertised for having an easy installation. I followed the instructions, downloaded the app, which is a whole other problem in itself, and I even went on the Miden webpage for more information. This has been a very frustrating experience as I tried my best at finding a decent dashcam. I selected this because of the multiple reviews (over 1k), and many of them were good reviews, at least they were at the time I had purchased this. Now going through the page, I can see more recent unhappy customers that have been experiencing these same problems. Again, this has just been terrible and please stay safe out there.

This dash cam provides complete vehicle coverage through three separate cameras; front, interior, and rear. The front camera records in high quality resolution, producing clear and detailed footage even at night. The interior camera captures the passenger seats, making it ideal for families with a baby or for rideshare drivers. The camera angle can also be easily adjusted to any preferred position. The rear camera offers wide-angle coverage suitable for parking assistance and monitoring traffic behind the vehicle. Both the camera and the mount are compact and made from durable plastic, keeping the overall weight very light. The large display screen makes it easy to check footage while driving without straining. During operation, the camera maintains consistent video quality without frame drops or overheating. Audio pickup from the built-in microphone is clear. The only challenging part was hiding the cables, which may take some time and effort for a non-professional, like me. One convenient feature is the suction mount. Unlike adhesive mounts that are difficult to reposition once installed, the suction type allows the camera to be easily moved or adjusted whenever needed. Considering it offers quality three cameras, and a solid range of features, the price is very reasonable and provides excellent overall value.

Haven't used it for a long time but can judge it real quick hopefully it changes as time goes or if the seller replaces it (if this is an isolated factory defect). Short: Basically if you just need a camera to capture if you get into an accident then yes it works but if you need a very reliable camera (90+% reliability) and have money to spend then buy the more expensive ones. Inside cabin: Quality for inside the cabin is good but for some reason it always over exposed the whole shot, the back seat of my car is dark and i have black seats and headliner so maybe it's exposing for that even if I'm infront. Front camera: The camera facing forward is okay. It's clear enough that if you get into a plain accident you can see which car/s or people are involved, but if it's a hit or run or someone running away you're out of luck since it's not the clear to read the plate numbers. I haven't tested at night but if it's not clear enough in the morning to see the plate number i suspect worse at night. Also, if you go under a bridge or somewhere with a lot of shadows suddenly from driving in broad daylight. Visibility will almost be 0 so if something happens in the split second the you go under a bridge the camera can't see a thing (not good dynamic range; too bright even after EV compensation). When viewing the footage as well it's not smooth and would skip a few frames. Not sure if this is something to do with writing the footage or they use a lower fps for storage (no option to change) Back camera: i hooked it up and tested it. Works. Not sure about the clarity since I'm having a hard time fixing the wiring since i have a hatchback (harder to mount unless I make a whole in the back for the wire) Operating system: simple but for some reason finicky. Need to get used to it. App is not bad, works limited settings / what you can do. Mainly just view and download files. Conclusion: if you're in a budget and just want a dashcam for added security then definitely good for the price. If you're looking for clarity and more reliable (in any kind of situation or visibility) then you have to buy the $100+ ones

the front dash camera is very good quality in video and audio. i also like that it comes with a micro sd card so i can start using it right away. the shell for the dash is metallic so it gives the dash came a more quality feel, but in direct sunlight while in the car in the summer, you can feel how hot the dashcam gets. the rear view dash in my opinion is complete garbage, which is why im taking a star away from the product. unlike the front view, which uses a suction to stick to the windshield, the rear view uses an adhesive sticker. which during summer, completely loses its adhesiveness. it also has a much brighter exposure on the video it records which cant be lowered with out lowering the front view as well

Installation was painless, with plenty of cable length for power and rear cam. I've had the suction cup release on occasion due to extreme sunlight and heat in summer but easily remounted. Isn't intrusive in size and picture quality is good for this price. Video quality is good and I recommend it for those who are budget minded like myself.

I honestly rarely write reviews but if I could save someone from wasting their money I would be glad. All the 1 star reviews are 100% true. The quality is poor, I’ve tried to adjust the contrast in the app and it literally does nothing. I’ve had a few small instances where I wanted to review the footage and the app is not only SLOW and keeps disconnecting from the camera, so then it has to reload all over again, it literally did NOT record what I wanted to look at. It stopped recording right at the time stamp something happened. Very frustrating as this camera is supposed to record at all times… the whole point of a dash cam. God forbid I get into an accident but not that this dashcam would help. I’m going to be looking for another dash cam. The only good thing is the tool used to tuck in the wires, which honestly I am sad to have to take this cam out since I took so much time to have it seamlessly blended into my car. I’ve had this for about 2 months and it seems like you won’t get a refund after that amount of time. I honestly do not know how this is rated as high as it is. Please spend your money on another dash cam.

Bought this dash cam plus a hard wire kit and a 128 SD card, not happy with the camera. First, the rear camera is made to attach to your license plate frame and not inside or in the rear window. Second, is it's random on and off cycling. Sometimes it will turn on when I get in the car and start up (rarely) but most of the time I have to turn it on. Then the $%!@ thing will randomly go off and I have to turn it on again. It will eventually go off again anywhere from 4 min to 20 min later and we repeat. On very rare occasions it will come back on by itself. The biggest issue... the seller will not respond to my emails. They did initially, asking for my order number so they could confirm which series camera I had, but after that they would not respond to my many emails asking for help in fixing this issue. I would have returned the camera to Amazon, but it is a lot of work to install, so I guess I have to keep reaching over every few miles and turn the piece of $#!) back on. Problems can happen with any item, but how the seller stands behind and the help they provide is everything and this seller hasn't stepped up. Avoid.
