Beretta Men's Two Tone Clay Shooting Vest

Despite what other reviewers say, the sizing is spot on. I wear a US size 42 sport coat and wear size 33 jeans. I ordered the large as recommended by feedback to go up one size. It was huge! I returned it for a medium, and that fit perfectly. There is room for a heavy sweater underneath for spring and fall shooting, if you desire However, it is a mesh vest and really is meant for warmer weather. If you want to use this year-round (over a winter coat), then order a large. Besides the sizing issue, this shooting vest is top quality plenty of room to hold a box in each pocket. Gel recoil pad is not too bulk, and it is removable.

I purchased this vest in size medium, right handed, as the comments said it ran slightly big as I normally wear size large. I'm 6' 190 pounds and the medium fit me well with room to loosen at the waist. Its well made and the material feels like it should last a long time. It does feel slightly shorter than my last vest as the shell pockets are above my waist, whereas I would prefer them at my waist for ease of access. The leather shoulder pad and the gel insert made shooting many rounds comfortable, although the pad may be a bit skinny if you get the recoil pad of the gun a little too far out on your shoulder like I do sometimes.

This is by far the best vest, I've got the Loden/Khaki one and now the Gray/Navy. I used for trap shooting, to me this is better than castellani (another great brand) but I prefer beretta vest for their pockets, is very confortable and the adjust is perfect. You can put more than 25 cartridge on both pocket and you don't have the sensation of heavy, the pockets are very big and wide. You have on the lateral a strong plastic to hook a towel. Again the best vest you can have.

slenderizing (i'm a tubby). sizes run slightly small. well thought out, with amply storage for shells, and spent rounds. the gell pad, while thin actually works great. Kept me from having to getting a rubber butt pad for the stock. The pad tends to fall down in the pocket, but the addition of a small weave of paracord through the mesh of the pocket the pad fits into, holds the pad up in the sweet spot nicely. I bought another one in blue!. Dry clean only (bah!)

This vest is great, it has everything you can want in a shooting vest, and for a little over $80, you get a lot. Numerous pockets, leather shooting pad, gel insert, etc. I got the tan and green, so I can take it hunting, and with the big back pockets, caring a couple of doves won't be a problem. I had some problems with other vests with the vest material catching the shotgun butt when I mounted the gun, but not with this vest. The leather pad is slick enough to allow the gun to be brought up with no catching, but doesn't make it so slick, that the gun slides around when shooting. The only knock I have with it is, you get a little sweaty on hot days under the pad, but that is to be expected.

Thanks to all that answered my question about size. I was going to order a medium, glad I didn't. With a flannel shirt under this vest it fits my 5'7" , 156 lb body perfect. Really nice quality and the recoil pad that came with it looks like it will work just fine. Plenty of room in the pockets.

Bought this for my husband & he loves it. I thought it looked a little big, but he said it was perfect & would be great year round. He has been admiring this vest in the Beretta catalog, so I knew it was a great gift. However the recoil pad was not included with the vest, but the seller is in touch with Beretta & will have it sent to us. Need to say the price was a super value!
