A: Yes.  But I wouldn't if you want the backing to last.

**Q: is this natural or synthetic latex backing?**
A: Synthetic. It doesn't say that anywhere but I'm allergic to latex and I can touch the baking without reacting.

**Q: What are the actual dimensions of this rug? It says 20x30 inches, but it’s a circle so I’m not sure if it’s actually 20x20” or 30x30”.**
A: Mine was about 25 x 25
