Guy Laroche Drakkar Noir Eau De Toilette 50ml

My first bottle of this was very strange must have been a bad batch it opened very citrusy like citrus toilet cleaner or lemon fragrance washing up liquid it was all wrong compared with how it should smell from the descriptions I'd read on the web so I ordered another bottle and it was completely different. Yes it has some citrus but lots of other smells in there as well it's big and Powerful and it's still big and Powerful two hours later. People class it as a classic 80s powerhouse masculine fragrance and who am I to disagree. I can't really describe its fragrance my nose doesn't allow that also I have no education in perfumery and it's all subjective anyway. It isn't sugary sweet like flowers and it goes darker as its ages on your skin. It's the exact opposite of a typical woman's fragrance which is sweet and smells of flowers and things. At its current price it's an absolute bargain so I will recommend it. You could also try Quorum super powerful can smell like leather and tobacco so ultra masculine, Cerruti 1881pour home, Calvin Klein eternity for men obviously not for women. Because they do do a woman's version as well. Azzaro pour home, Davidoff Zino. These can all be obtained for not much money a few of them are quite old going back to the 70s 80s 90s? Another one is tabak even the cheaper cologne version is powerful and very impressive it dates from I think 1959 I wore it to a karaoke yesterday and it remained quite powerful for hours and hours and hours maybe 12 hours that's very impressive for a cheap fragrance unfortunately it didn't make me sing any better.

Love the fragrance

It's very distinctive but I think it has either lost some of It's ooomph or I have lost some of mine! However, like me, it's still lovely but maybe doesn't last so long. Certainly excellent value at these prices though.

Good brand and nice fragrance

Saw a review on YouTube of classic men’s perfumes and this/ DRAKKAR NOIR, was one of them and highly praised. So looked it up saw it a a cheep as chips price on Amazon and thought I’ll try it out. And boy I was impressed! Sweet smelling with a straight out of the shower sort of smell an excellent every day sent. I put five to six sprays on and it lasted all day would say not to over powering but strong enough and good projection but not over the top. Reminds me of aftershave’s of the mid 80’s probably because that’s when it was first launched 1981. So if you’re like me over the age of 40ish you’ll probably love it. I would definitely recommend it I’ll definitely will be buying it again it’s my new everyday fragrance. The Bach number on my box and bottle is 38Y501M. If this helps

Old man smell

This, I’ve always loved. It lasts for around 5 to 6 hours and smells very good. I’d say for casual use or around the office. Great for middle aged and the older gentleman. Yes I’ve had compliments for this. Lovely clean slightly sweet but crisp fresh scent. You won’t be disappointed.

An oldie but a goodie! Always get compliments when I wear this as it is very pleasant. Great value too

This fragrance isn't a crowd pleaser by today's standards, making it less of a blind buy. It has very mature scent not overly serious yet not particularly youthful either, which is perfect for me. The longevity is modest, lasting only 3 to 4 hours at best. Despite this limitation, it's truly an exceptional scent. It strikes an ideal balance, neither overwhelming nor too subtle (though this is my personal preference, I prefer being discovered rather than announced), making it versatile for nearly any occasion. I clearly understand why it's considered a classic barbershop fragrance. If you're a child of the 80s or 90s, this nostalgic old school perfume would make an excellent addition to your collection.

Still the king of colognes.
