Did any of you wash before wearing? Did it fade or colors bleed? Did it dry wrinkly? Mine has hard lines in it from folding

I washed mine in cold water with a few drops of Dawn dish soap with my regular detergent. It did not fade and the wine that I spilled onto it came out fine. I did NOT put it in the dryer though.

Would they fit an 8 year old child?

I think they would be too large for the average 8 year old.

How do you get the wrinkles out of the costume...can you use an iron?

I haven't tried to iron the wings. They are minimally wrinkled. I think it would be okay to use a damp towel and iron on low heat to remove wrinkles, or a steamer.

Can this be washed on a cold gentle cycle?

The product does not come with washing instructions.
